This was my second visit to Oblu Select Sangeli, and it was mind-blowing! The service provided here is exceptional, from the food to the spa to the activities and the villas themselves, everything is done to perfection to ensure you have an amazing time. We had high hopes for this resort and they were exceeded in every way. The location is phenomenal - beautiful clean beaches & water and amazing snorkeling right from the beach. The villas are modern and very comfortable. The staff are all exceptional - many of them take time to learn who you are and what drinks, seating, food you prefer. You will not regret this stay. We did 5 nights in a beach villa and 5 nights in an over water pool villa. The water villas are obviously amazing but the beach villa was very good too - if we had been stuck in the beach villa, it would not have been a problem. The scuba diving was great, as well as the turtle bay tour.

Had the most amazing holiday here. Stayed in the lagoon villa’s which were fab! View of the sea from our beds just beautiful 🌊 so much to do on the island and all included in the premier all inclusive- snorkelling got given equipment on the first day and just gave back on the last day - the most gorgeous sea life - blue fish , baby sharks, and lots of Dory colourful fish. Kayaking & paddle boarding. The fishing activities was amazing 🐬 .The Food was amazing from the beach bar to the ala carte. It felt like home for few days , i have no words to describe staff services …….. Special mention to staffs that made our stay easy & relaxing; MICHEL from the sangs( best part of sangeli). Overall, this was an amazing trip and experience for me, and I would highly recommend this resort, either for couples or family trip. Maldives was my dream destination and i have to say that this island has exceeded all my expectations. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which was amazing expecially the bathroom. I was a bit affraid that 9 days on the beach may be a bit boring, but the activities the hotel has offered made a perfect balance between a relaxing - active holiday. We had our wedding in the hotel, which was delayed due to the weather conditions, The staff was very helpful and ready to make it a perfect event for us as soon as the sun came out. Special thanks to Nisha who was very attentive throughout our stay and organized everything for the big day. However what makes this place exceptional is the super friendly and helpful staff and great management. This was my first trip to the Maldives and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 9 nights for our Honeymoon in an overwater villa (439) From the moment of arrival at the beautiful island the attention and professionalism of all the staff was first class. We were greeted with traditional music and a cold drink and towel which was very refreshing! Our villa was not quite ready so we were shown to pool bar where we could wait until our villa was ready. Our villa was fantastic. Very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The most comfortable bed and pillows i have ever slept on. Heavenly!!! A massive bathroom with a bath and separate shower which both looked out over the ocean. A lovely decking area with 2 loungers and an umbrella. The food and drinks included in the Serenity Package are top quality. Premium spirits, beers and soft drinks. Sparking white and rosè too which was an excellent addition and really lovely. All of the food was really good. Loads of options and we never got bored! The Spa was heavenly. Full body massages and facials. Bliss! The adults only island is great and a nice place to escape to when the main pool and bar gets too busy. The A la Carte restaurants on the adults island are fantastic. Amazing food and service. Unfortunately for us the weather had just turned when we arrived and we experienced very heavy rain and strong winds for the majority of our stay which meant that our Honeymoon dinner on the beach didn't happen. Also the 2 trips out on the boats included in the serenity package, we didn't do as neither of us are good on rough waters. Obviously this was not anyone's fault and could not be helped. Just a real shame! We did have a few lovely sunny mornings and afternoons but i would definitely recommend staying away from the rainy season if like us you are going for the sunshine 🌞 Apparently it was a little unusual so early in the season to be so bad. Apart from that it was amazing. The staff are a real credit to the company. All of them! I have never been anywhere that have such happy and polite staff. Rini in Customer Relations is so lovely. Thank you for all your help! As were all the staff in Sang's Bar. Michael, Happy, Kat, Lovely, Juman and everyone else. Thank you for looking after us so well! This was my first trip to the Maldives and I was a little unsure as I was traveling alone, and felt a little out of place. However, I had no need to worry, as from the moment I arrived at the airport I was made to feel welcome by the team. This continued throughout the trip, with the whole team making me feel extremely comfortable and making my trip very personal by addressing me by my name wherever I went within the resort. The over-water villa that I booked was stunning. It was extremely well kept and the housekeeping standards were second to none. The mini bar and refreshments were restocked every day and the housekeeping team always made sure to ask if I need anything extra. Food and beverages were all inclusive and there was never a time when I felt I didn't have a great selection to choose from. The buffet changes daily, but for me the breakfast was the star of the show. Included in the stay were meals at the speciality restaurants (Just grill & Simply Veg). I only ate at Just Grill and the food was outstanding. My experience was made even more special as I was celebrating my birthday and the team presented me with a wonderful birthday cake, which again this really made my trip very personal. While all the team at the Just Grill restaurant were amazing, one person did standout, Haffez ( I hope I spelt that correctly). He really was extremely professional and pleasant. I can't commend him enough for his customer service. Overall, this was an amazing trip and experience for me, and I would highly recommend this resort, either for couples or solo travelers. It was our first time in Maldives. Our water vila was very comfy. Food was delicious, with rich variety of cuisines. But we would love to thank you most to the girls from the Kids club. Our kids (9 and 6 y.o.) loved spending time there. Every day new activities, practicing their English language. Amal, Kelly, Menuka and Mariya were so kind and entertaining. Also Happy from the main pool bar was very kind, smiling all day long. Combination of the most beautiful sea and great resort service made this vacation very relaxing. We enjoyed it soooo much.
