We really enjoyed our stay in one of the self catering properties. As ever, the family were very welcoming, and the option to join B&B guests for breakfast was a treat. Waking up to the view of lambs bounding around the field is fun, particularly in the spring sunshine. The cottage is very well equipped with a quick heating up...

We rented the one bedroomed barn for 2 weeks whilst we are waiting to move in to the new property. We are from the local area. Phil and Sara where friendly, happy people and the three dogs often came by the window to say "hi". The barn has everything you need and the wifi speed is excellent (better than at...

This review is so overdue I can only apologize. We stayed in one of the holiday cottages for a few months last year whilst we did up our house nearby. The cottage was like a home from home! The owners were lovely and their dogs made the stay even better (still missing Maisy)! The cottage itself is really well done...

Stayed here last night whilst visiting my daughter who is at Harper Adams University. Lovely friendly hosts with beautifully presented cosy farmhouse. Rooms were spacious, warm and welcoming with original character and absolutely and I mean absolutely immaculately clean. Gorgeous dogs too! Will most definitely be staying here again when visiting my daughter. Stayed in a Premiere Inn last time...

We needed a place to stay to visit an old friend and after having searched on the internet for somewhere pleasant and close to where our friend now lives, I found Moreton Hall Farm. I read about it on its website and thought we would give it a go. Sara and Phil are hosts you take to immediately, with their...

We stayed here as we were on a course at Lilleshal Nationall Sports & Conferening Centre. We had a brilliant stay in one of the converted barns at Moreton Hall Farm. The converted barn was gorgeous, very comfortable and well decorated. Milk was in the fridge which was great as we arrived late on the first night and needed it...

Stayed here for one night on business trip. I know the area well but had never stayed here before. Nice big bedroom and bathroom. Relaxed atmosphere and hosts. Breakfast was a treat - lovely bacon and eggs. Fantastic value for money. Quite s rural location but not too far off the main road.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sara and Phil welcome you to their rambling 19th century farmhouse B&B and holiday cottages in Newport, Shropshire, a blissful retreat in glorious countryside set within a working farm. We have four spacious and comfortable B&B rooms and three charming Shropshire self catering holiday cottages, beautifully appointed and decorated in a contemporary style. The farmhouse bed and breakfast is typical of its period with original inglenook fireplaces and exposed beams, enhanced with antiques and period décor. The self catering cottages feature original beams, vaulted ceilings, and oak-framed windows, all with wonderful views. Surrounded by quiet Shropshire countryside, Moreton Hall Farm is set in beautiful landscaped gardens where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the use of our outdoor heated swimming pool during the summer months (July & August). Moreton Hall is a family run farm. We have our own rare breed speckled sussex hens who keep us supplied with free range eggs for your breakfast (we are also happy to provide breakfast if you are staying in one of our self catering cottages). We are in an ideal location for mid-week business visitors being located between Telford, Gnosall and Stafford and only a few miles from all. We warmly welcome individuals, couples and families visiting on holiday (Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site is nearby), catching up with friends and family, or maybe you simply want that Shropshire Farm Stay experience. ... more   less
