Perfect place to stay whilst doing my course down the road. Nice room, clean and peacefull. The adjoining pub served up a lovely breakfast and I ordered an evening meal whilst there which was absolutely fantastic (highly recommend the duck) I have another course booked for December so I will be coming back here without a doubt.

IIf you want a nice friendly place to stay not far from Thame/Chinnor and the Cotswolds then look no further. The landlord and landlady, Jerry and Paula, run a nice place with a pretty garden and well stocked Bar and Jerry is a bit of a wine buff. The rooms are comfortable an reasonably priced ,with a cracking cooked breakfast... More

Was a little apprehensive making a booking here having read previous reviews. However a very pleasant place to stay and would definitely stay again. Lovely area to explore Thatched pub a short walk away for a change of scenery. Only stayed one night. The room I stayed in (6) was clean enough but could do with redecorating. Carpets clean, no... I have stayed here a number of times, and it is always a pleasure. I always stay here when I go to Kubota to do training courses. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with very nice beds. The restaurant serves fantastic local food, which is very reasonably priced for the quality

The room was just a bit pricey for what it was and the breakfast choice was no more than average. However the beer was excellently kept and the food in the evening was first class. A cheese and marmite scotch egg for starters - great.

Really friendly staff, lovely food and my room is so comfortable. This is exactly what I want when I'm away on business, nice homely feel and really relaxed. So close to the hubbub but you would never think it. I work up this neck of the woods all the time and will DEFINITELY be booking again. Very happy customer.

Nice hotel just outside Thame. All ok nothing spectacular but for a nights sleep when at a wedding near by it ticked the box ok. Rooms ok and food in pub good. Jerry works hard to keep everything running smoothly. Altogether fine for what we needed.

First time visit, having move do the area six months ago. Nice pub, we sat outside in the lovely garden and for a Monday night the pub really was quite busy, which was a pleasant surprise. Landlord/landlady were lovely, good home cooked food. We hadn't booked, and if you are able to do so, do book, as the landlord explained... More

We visited this Inn, which is a pub with restaurant and accommodation. Food was excellent. Service was prompt. Lovely evening. We met up with friends for dinner so cannot comment on the accommodation. The meal was cooked by the landlady and the landlord was serving behind the bar. Both made us very welcome. Would definitely visit again if in the... More
