This was the hallway point for meetind friends and it didnt dissapoint. The food and drink were excellent, I can thoroughly recommend the pork burger but be warned its very messy. Don't be put off it though as there are plenty of paper napkins to fashion a bib from. The bar area is a dog friendly place too so bring...

Met up here with family. Had a three course meal. From the starters to the mains and desserts are superb. The waiter really did look after us, We spent almost 3 hours in this eating and chatting.....The price is reasonable enough.

Once a year our 'extended' family meet up, as we live several hundred miles apart. We discovered that Adderbury is almost exactly the same distance to travel for all of us. We arrived late on a Thursday afternoon and received a warm welcome from 'Gary' at reception. The Red Lion has some amazing history as a genuine Coaching Inn, and...

Having stayed here on a previous trip, I had no real concerns about returning. Well, that soon changed. We had a pleasant welcome and were offered a morning paper or wake up call, both of which we refused. We were also advised to book a table for dinner, which we did. Being aware of the winding staircase, we carefully ascended...

This is the first time I have been to this lovely village pub, There was a good choice of food on the menu and not over priced, I would recommend the scampi it was served in a basket with tripled cooked chip's with mushy peas, I will definitely go back .

Stayed at this hotel on business, and although it wasn't something i'd usually choose, i enjoyed my stay. However, the room was VERY dated and is the reason I've given it a score of average. The windows were not double glazed and had cracks in them, so didn't feel too safe. The last day there was no hot water. Overall,...

Greeted on arrival as a friend, first visit to this inn, but first impression excellent. Check in handled with efficiency by Gemma. Offered morning call and newspaper. Then shown to my well appointed room, helped with suitcase up a very quaint spiral staircase. Room snug, clean and cosy, the only single but very fit for purpose for a solo one...

I really enjoyed my stay. 1 night ready for a meeting next day. The welcome was really friendly. Single room was small but fine. Loads of coffee / tea/ hot chocolate available. Evening meal was excellent. Great night's sleep. Woke up to sparrows. The breakfast was brilliant. Lovely fruit, yoghurt, toast and an AMAZING vegetarian cooked breakfast. I am working...

Overnight stop Room was very tired but clean Good food, excellent service. The restaurant was crowded so I booked a table. My meal was prompt, plentiful and tasty. Breakfast was cooked to order and newspapers were available. Would stay again.

Founf the Red Lion rooms etc a bit tired and in need of redecoration or refurb. Having said that the staff at the hotel including the Manager was most helpful and very very polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all times. The food in Red Lion was very good indeed including the fanstastic breakfast served up. Hopefully...
