This was one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, because of the amazing view and comfy chairs on the balcony! Sip a coffee or have a glass of wine and relax! The staff were very friendly and kind. The bed was comfortable and the air con was good. I slept very well. Lots of restaurants a short drive away.

Fabulous two night stay at this property in the Khao Sok National Park. Our accommodation was a really nice room with balcony overlooking the high peaks within the National Park. A really relaxing way to sit out and look at the view. There were plenty of restaurants and bars a short drive away - the hotel served food but only until 7.30pm. Very friendly hosts.

We stayed for 4 nights in November and we absolutely loved our stay. The place is pretty new judging from the rooms and whilst this is not 5 star accommodation, it doesn't need to be. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable with the most fantastic views from the huge balcony. We spent many hours just sat in the big comfy chairs on the balcony just enjoying the views. The setting of the place is just amazing as well, right in the middle of the jungle surrounded by all the noises. As for the owners of the property, I would say they were probably the most genuine, friendly, helpful and hospitable people we have come across at any hotel we have stayed at. From the moment we arrived they set out to make our stay fantastic in every way including teaching us a few words of Thai every day and then getting us to practice them at the next meal time ! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was also excellent including the breakfast which was part of the room rate. If you want to go into the main area of Khao Sok the owners will drive you and then give you a phone number to call when you want to come back. It is a decent walk otherwise. There is a swimming pool which was nice to chill out by and have a dip after a long day out in the jungle. Would highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again. Loved every minute !

Our family room was enormous—essentially two connecting large rooms with a huge common deck, looking out on a spectacular view (see photo). We also had the opportunity to see another family room, which was even larger, but it didn’t have the same view. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and have air conditioning, which worked well. WiFi also worked well in the rooms. The grounds are lovely, with a set of elevated walkways through a jungle setting connecting several bungalows. There is a beautiful pool, but we didn’t get a chance to try it out. The staff are friendly and helpful, and will drop everything at a moment’s notice to drive you in to the village or to pick you up. The village is about 5 minutes away. The food at the hotel is good but not great, but probably on a par with other restaurants in the village. It is possible to reserve any tours you want to take (including overnight tours) once you arrive. They have a standard menu of tour options. We had pre-booked a private tour with Khao Sok Local Guides (highly recommended!), so we can’t speak to the tours through the hotel. They also offered an airport transfer service from Surat Thani. Also highly recommend the massage place in town (the hotel knows their contact info and can make you a booking). Definitely worth it to stay here!

We had a lovely stay at khao Sok good view resort. The rooms were big and clean. Service was friendly. Breakfast was decent - nothing fancy, but choice of 5 options, made to order with coffee/tea and fruit. Pool was very clean. It’s outside of the main drag but there’s a minimart and atm next door, and they will drive you into town whenever you request in a converted pick up truck taxi. When you arrive you can also get a free shuttle if you arrive at the bus stop. We spent one day hanging out by the pool and had lunch at the restaurant and the food was as good as anywhere in town and pretty reasonably priced. A few notes and tips: bugs will get in the room, geckos may also. (Expected since you’re right next to the jungle.) The bugs were mostly harmless, but caught one with nasty looking stingers. On the other hand, we saw fewer mosquitoes than we expected. Rooms 1, 2, and 3 seemed the best. They are stand-alone bungalows with the “good view” of the limestones. 4/5 share a wall (I think sold as family room) and also face the limestones. 6/7 also a family room but do not have a good view- they just look at the next property but still feels lush with lots of greenery. Rooms are nice and quiet (unless a critter comes and jumps on your roof-again, part of the jungle vibe). It took a while to figure out that for the shower water heater to work you need to turn down the water pressure a bit. Beds are quite firm, but we all slept well. Chairs on the balcony look a bit out of place but are very comfortable. Only suggestion is to shop around a bit for your national park tours and try to find an operator with good reviews. We booked through the hotel (tours not run by the hotel) so it was convenient and it met our expectations and we got the awesome views we wanted, but we weren’t blown away by the tour management or the cramped boat seating. For price reference: the full day lake tour is 1500 baht+300 baht park fee+20 baht boat dock fee.
