#4 of 5 Specialty lodging in Glacier View
Majestic Valley Lodge, mile 114.9 on the Glenn Hwy, is located at a convenient stopping point along the scenic Glenn Hwy (half way between Palmer and Glennallen) and the elevation is just under 3000 feet. The 7000 square foot hand scribed log lodge overlooks two spectacular mountain ranges: the Talkeetnas and the Chugach. Hiking trails abound; arrange for flight seeing, glacier trekking or river rafting. Free Wireless. Satelite TV. Beer and wine bar. Advance reservation for creatively prepared dinners using fresh ingredients and Alaskan seafood. Full course breakfasts are available and may be reserved upon check-in. The chef and staff provide wonderful meals with the individual's dietary needs in mind. The coffee pot is always ready to brew that freshly ground cup of coffee w/ creamer for those guests that enjoy kicking back on the covered porch to watch the wilderness unfold. Adjacent to the lodge is a small bush airstrip, so watching the planes come in for landings is also eventful.

We found this place thru a good friends recommendation. Lisa and the rest of the staff were awesome and overly accommodating. There is a great outdoor lawn area , firepit, gardens, etc. My kids were able to run and play in the grass. Wished we could have hung out longer! Plan on heading back this winter for heli-skiing with a crew of guys. Highly recommend this place to anybody for any reason. Its the best place we stayed in Alaska this summer!

The lodge is in a beautiful location. The deck is a great place to soak in the views. We stayed in a room in the main lodge and it was very nice with a large well equipped bathroom. The people working at the lodge were very friendly and helpful. The dinners were fabulous! Stay here if you have a chance.

Our family of four stayed in the Grizzly Cabin on our way to Glenallan. A great rest point on the drive. The room was perfect for us and the lodge very homey. The dinner was delicious and the staff accommodated family allergies without issue. The campfire after dinner was amazing and a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this lodge!!

This sparkling Gem is situated in the middle of nowhere, which makes it a huge part of it’s a attraction. Their rooms are small but clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful. The food was wonderful. This would make a fantastic retreat. Just remember, it really is in the middle of nowhere. There is an airplane hanger nearby that will take you out for a reasonable price. It’s a great way to see Alaska. I would definitely go back!

We were a family of 5 staying for a few nights on the way from Anchorage to Valdez. We had an AWESOME time. The lodge is really homey and the staff (Amanda, Shanea (sp?) especially went out of their ways to make us comfortable. We had dinner and breakfasts at the lodge....great food (shout out to Kristen) and really easy to just walk upstairs for the meals and company. We saw bear, moose, eagles. We stayed in the main lodge (lower level) with two rooms across the common room from one another. Felt like we had our own living room. We did a glacier hike with Nova (they were great), hiked around the property (lots of trails), used the hot tub, had smores around the fireplace and more. It was GREAT way to kick off the vacation...Mark was really knowledgeable about the area and a really down to earth guy to converse. We went to the Glacier View 4th of July parade and festivities....if you have not been, put it in your calendar for 2019. It's unlike any 4th celebration you will see. Rated the best in Alaska and it rivals any other that we've been to. Just Youtube, Glacier View 4th of July and you'll see for yourself. Thanks for making our stay a Majestic Valley one of our highlights.
