The weekend we stayed the weather was terrible but the B&B still looked lovely. It must look amazing in the summer. We stayed in the Mendips room was nice. Not huge but the layout made it feel cosy as opposed to small. Excellent breakfast, full English with a choice of cereals and fruit. Would definitely recommend!

I visited several BNB's throughout the world, but this is by far one of the best and service minded ones I have ever been to. Operated by an extremely service minded and heart warm couple, who doesn't settle with anything less than absolute satisfaction from their guests. We are staying for 3 nights, and I'm already writing this review after... More

Friendly welcome even though our arrival was delayed. Wookey Room was spacious and well appointed. Room well heated but opening both windows kept it comfortable. Bed comfortable but no wifi in room - that is in dining room. High quality breakfast with all trimmings was very generous. Plenty of room to park in pleasant garden. Several restaurants within walking distance... More

Hollybank B&B is a beautiful Georgian house in a very convenient location. The rooms are very spacious, elegant and very, very clean. Our room had everything one would need for an overnight or longer stay. Owners Kathy and John are perfect hosts, friendly and very professional. If the weather is fine relax in the beautiful gardens. Breakfast has plenty of... More

We stayed for 1 night. After a long day's drive, we arrived at Hollybank and were greeted by Kathy. She made us feel very welcome. Our room was the Mendip Suite. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We slept very well. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad followed by a choice of cooked breakfast. We also very... More

We stayed here for 1 night as a journey breaker en route to Cornwall. Our room was sacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, recommendations for evening meals were very useful and the breakfast was at least as good as anywhere else I have stayed. All round faultless and very much recommended

We needed somewhere to stay before an early appearance at Bristol Airport and came across this gem. It gave us everything we needed for the one night. From the moment we arrives it felt like catching up with an old friend (though this was our first visit) and for that reason I had no hesitation in booking again for our... More

This is my 3rd stay at Hollybank in the last 18 months and once again it was terrific. The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. I attend fused glass courses locally and now will only stay with Kathy and John in Hollybank B&B. I usually attend the glass courses alone so having a friendly welcome is important to me. There... Booked in for a two night stay and was told none of the double rooms were available but they had a twin bedded room, with a separate bathroom just round the corner for our exclusive use. We booked this and were quoted £175 for two night stay. Arrived and was shown to the room. To sell this as a room... More

Such a nice house, lovely rooms, and such nice hosts. But... two basics are completely wrong: Bed was terribly lumpy though and we both came back with real pains and aches. Breakfast: Most things (am pretty sure everything!) were low quality supermarket, non-organic, frozen (!) or synthetic (!)- considering they are in Somerset and charging quite decent rates- that was...
