The location of the hotel is perfect for travellers needs, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The view out over the lake whilst having breakfast is breath taking and the food is great!! The service is amazing, restaurant staff speak english and were very attentive to my needs. The reception staff are welcoming and were a great help when we organised a trip out to the hot springs helping us book private vehicles and getting us a good price. The hotel manager, Manjo, speaks english and is knowledgable on activities we could do in the area during our stay. It refreshing to have a friendly manager that genuinly wants you to enjoy your stay at their hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel for travellers.

Lovely hotel with a good sized pool and set on a lake. Spacious clean rooms. If possible get one with a pool view. Food in the restaurant was excellent. For my taste there were limited other options in the village. We borrowed bikes and cycled around the rice fields to the near by villages. Staff are lively and very helpful

Teambuilding and gala dinner with company. It was such rainy day, but Mai Chau Lodge team was very friendly on helping us to organize teambuilding activities and gala dinner in the rain. Ms.Nhi (Hotel Manager) was wet in the rain too. She offered us various games: Slow biking, Kayaking, tug of war, blind man's bluff, breakdancing.. With lots of fun and memories. Lunch at Bo Luong was great also. And sleeping in cozy glamping was my new experience. I highly recommend Mai Chau Lodge to other tourists who like to experience team activities, green atmosphere and friendly service.

We had the best experience in Mai Chau Lodge! Where do I start? It was my boyfriend birthday so I booked this resort as surprise but I didn’t expect was so big and so high quality. The check in was amazing with warm towels and cinnamon tea. Good explanation of the facilities. Library, piano, free kayak on the lake, sauna, pool ! The dorm we booked was huge and right in front of the lake. The room was so complete, nothing missed (water, fruits etc) and so comfortable. Cleaning was top and all staff was kind to you and good English as well. The bathroom right next to the dorm, but good one! The best hot shower in a rural area. Garden, lake, lots of space for open air activities. The restaurant has vast variety of food and price, for all tastes. Breakfast really big. Moreover, the kindness of the manager and all the staff was the real treat we got. I asked for 2 carbonaras and a tiramisu. The staff SO PROFESSIONAL, cooked for me the carabonaras (and was great!). The staff helped me to find tiramisu, after a while they said no, but was ok, I understand, we are in Vietnam! At 17 they came to my dorm and told me we find a tiramisu for you (part of the surprise for my boyfriend). They always checked if we were ok and couldn’t ask more. Staff always smiling and available! Last thing, check out was on Sunday, so fully booked buses for Hanoi. They were able to find for me a local bus (a limousine) pick up at the hotel; in less than 5 minutes and cheaper! The location is perfect, they have a cave right i front of the hotel and security will help you with everything (never felt to safe here). They helped me with scooter. What can I say? Thanks for the special treatment you made our 30 years old birthday special. Recommended to everybody going to Mai Chau. 100%!!

Our room was fairly cramped. We had a double room with an extra bed for our son. All three of us had a suitcase and there was no room for that. The shower was a bit rickety. When you turned on the tap the shower head came down. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate. Plus was the pool, especially our son was very happy with that.
