This hotel has been imaginatively and sensitively created in the old oil mill overlooking the Elbe river. Fittings in the spacious room and throughout the building draw on its industrial heritage. The large, mainly original, beams further accentuate the building’s history. The good sized bed was comfortable with bright white sheets and duvets. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower and was well quipped. Breakfast in a light bright room was outstanding with a splendid buffet of meats, fish, cheeses, fruit, breads, juices, coffee and tea. We strongly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Superb location overlooking the Elbe, comfortable room, friendly staff. But the star of the show is the breakfast - rich array of lovely food (including five types of honey!!) with meats, fish, cheeses, salad, fruit, bread, juices, teas, coffee. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Good parking facilities. Easy access. Excellent ambience. Newly renovated factory / office building. Service were very attractive. Great variety in the food menu. They serve own brewed beer. Good ! Got the onion soup as starter and chose the HAXE as main. Very tasty and tender. Fair price for a good experience.

We love these accommodations where old firms etc are used for hotels and restaurants. Thats what they have done here. The room we had was in that respect a bit disappointing with just regular, ordinary furniture. the breakfast was okay, nothing special, only the breakfastroom was so big that we did not really felt 'at home'.

It's a great location very closed to the river Elbe, however kind of "isolated" and prety far from the "town center" ... The rooms seem to be very small but all you need is there. Breakfest buffett is sufficient and staff is very friendly and attentive. The interior is nice, especially at the reception level - nice libary and cosy "smokers room" (where you really may smoke). Drawback however: it's not conveninet to reach from parking spot: bumpery stones will make it very difficult to "roll" your suitcases and trolleys - then you need to lift thet stuff up to the reception - and even inside twice again you'll meet stairs ... so for handicapped people it is a very unpleasent facility. Too pity . BUT: once you want to have fun: the beach bar (50m) and the "climbers tower" with 2 great rope slides and an outside wall climbing facility is fantastic fun and save entertainment for youngsters and capable adults. Cost efficacy is ok.
