So often we drive through Mozambique for the beaches and forget about these huge fresh water lakes. Naara is right on the edge of Lake Nhambavale with a gorgeous rimflow pool overlooking the edge. Its also a great stop-over if you are heading further North in MOzambique, but make sure to spend a minimum of 3 days as you will...

Thank you for your review. We are glad you found our surroundings, infrastructure and pool lovely. We are happy you enjoyed our food and were able to enjoy some activities, although the weather did not help much. We will look at adding “rainy friendly” activities further to our already existing games, community walking, Spa treatments, movie room (Netflix), and library....

This was heavenly. The food was incredible. We had amazing seafood. The chef even cooked the fish we caught while here. The accommodation was stunning, each room had an in door and our door shower, and a private deck to watch the sunset. The owner was generous with his time and took us spear fishing twice during our week long...

It is a shame to stay in this place for only 1 night on your way North or South. Spend at least a full day here to unwind. The management offers many activities on the Lagoon, the pool is nice, the food is good, the surroundings are peaceful. Highly recommended. Enjoy the sunrise.

We visited Naara to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It's low season so the place was empty the first evening. The luxury tent was comfortable with A/C and an inside and outside shower. All the areas are well maintained and WiFi in the restaurant area is super fast!! Activities include kayaking and paddle boarding, they also have a nice pool...

The lodge is on the banks of the lagoon with an amazing view !! The rooms (tents) are very simple , a bit too simple to my taste !! The worse was that the nights are cold and they don´t have any kind of heater !! I froze during the night and of course I didn´t like it a bit...

My fiancé and I were really looking forward to this trip as we'd driven past the turning several times and been intrigued. We booked a 2 night stay to celebrate his birthday. The lodge is very well-sign-posted and the road is in great condition: a good start for anywhere in Mozambique! The location is blissful: peacefully overlooking a serene lagoon....

We stayed one night and it was a great experience. Hard to get there if you don't have a 4x4 and at one point you feel like you made a wrong turn but when you arrive you see beautiful gem right beside the lake. You stay in a tent but it's not like you think because have all the convenience...

What a jewel! The tents are great, the main area - a mixture of modern and natural design and a lot the little details (design is done from the owner Paolo). The staff is very, very friendly and helpful. We had a swim in the lake and in the nearby ocean. It was fantastic, that you could choose between calm...
