Booked here last November for my brother's 60th and were so impressed we came back (11 of us) to celebrate my mum's 80th. We had a meal at the wonderful Tollmarche Arms across the road. The owners are very accommodating, nothing to much trouble. Accommodation lovely all you need very clean. Breakfast enjoyable. All in all a wonderful place set... More

Fashioned from an old barn, this is a very comfortable resting place. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. Tea & coffee making facilities & free WIFI. A very good breakfast is available. All in all a very good place to stay in a peaceful village. There's a great pub across the road for dinner (the Tollemache Arms), and... More

Very peaceful- birds twittering and great views...not from our window unfortunately. Room okay but not what you would expect for 4 star rating. Special dietary request not met which was a shame but breakfast was nice. The pub nearby brilliant and food very nice would definitely recommend a drink or two :-)

Anthony and his team leave no stone unturned in their efforts to make our stay entirely without flaw. Extremely good value, the accommodation is clean and fresh, still feeling new. Anthony cooks up a mean breakfast. We felt welcomed and valued.

Good location, nice friendly welcome and we were quite comfortable - once we had found the heating controls! It was very noisy from 7:30 in the morning, and the breakfast times were far too early - finishing at 9:30 which is unusually early - especially on a Sunday morning. Breakfast was delicious, if a bit chaotic & noisy. These are... More

Attending a funeral nearby with my daughter so booked and changed booking couple of times due to plans changing and then ended up staying another night unplanned! No problem whatsoever and we were happily accommodated. Lovely rooms, peace and quiet and a simply stunning village. Great breakfast too.
