Just spent a week at this fantastic location in Yorkshire, great base to relax or if you prefer to visit the great city of York or the Yorkshire coast, it's a great place to take your dog if you have one with loads of great walks, one of the best holidays my wife and I have been on and we... More

This was our first visit and was a truly fabulous holiday. The lodges are perfectly situated and at the time we visited it's difficult to see the other lodges around you so you do have considerable privacy. The hot tub was a popular choice with kids and adults alike. We were lucky enough to be visited every morning and evening... More

We booked a Gardeners Premier Lodge for our Grandson's first holiday (3 weeks old) and wanted somewhere tranquil. Griffon Forest did not disappoint. The lodge was excellent value for money and it had all the amenities we needed to have a memorable stay. The interior of the lodge had lots of nice touches from the four poster beds in each... More

We have just returned from a long weekend in Lodge 15. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wildlife was amazing. This was our 4th time to Griffon Forest - our 3rd time to Lodge 15. We first came to Griffon Forest 10 years ago and in that time a number of things have been updated e.g. new hot tub,... More

Perfect in everyway! Great location with various mapped forest walks. Close to York which is a great day out and we even got ourselves up to Scarborough which is only 30 mins away. Great to see so much wildlife... regular visits from squirrels and caught a few glimpses of badgers. Lodge had everything we needed. The highlight... the ready to... More

General - My fiance and I are staying in a Poachers Premium lodge, costing around £800 for 4 nights during high season. Four poster bed, country cottage style decor. Hot tub outside and jacuzzi inside. Kitchens has pots, pans, utensils, crockery etc. Toilet is seperate to the walk-in shower that's in the bedroom. So pleased with it, we've decided we... More

This place is one of the most relaxing places me and my partner have ever visited! The staff are so welcoming and friendly upon arrival and our lodge was beautiful! The hot tub was heavenly to sit in in the evening with a complimentary bottle of wine! We were in lodge 11 which is amazing for feeding badgers, we bought... More

2nd visit to Griffon forest and was another relaxing holiday, the lodge we stayed in had lots of nice upgrades including the bathroom. Lodge was exceptionally clean on arrival and had no issues with anything throughout our stay. Good location to lots of local attractions. Will be returning again next year!

Along with my family, I have been returning to Griffon Forrest Lodges for many years now, I believe this holiday was my 10th or 11th stay, in a variety of the different lodge configurations. The overall experience, including the ambiance and atmosphere was fantastic. Whether using the lodge as a base for excursions out or simply staying at the lodge... More

We stayed at Griffon forest on the 25/7/16 till 29/7/16. I took my hubby for his 70th birthday. We stayed in Poachers 16 and found it superb. It was in a good secluded location and the lodge was well equipped and very clean. The hot tub was brilliant and a chap came round every morning to make sure it was... More
