Having been before we knew the location and setting were great. The flusher was broken on the toilet, you had to pump it quickly to make it flush. Plugged in a phone charger and when I went to unplug it the socket nearly came off the wall. There we a screw missing , holding it in to the wall. Filled...

This is the prettiest forest holiday site we've been to. We stayed in one of their premier cabins and it was superb. really spacious, comfortable and luxurious with awesome bathrooms. Unlike any other sites I've been to these cabins are set off the path in their own little section of woodland so they're a lot more private than most with...

We have stayed at Griffon Forest a few times before, and we loved it. unfortunately on this visit we were kept awake most or the night, for 3 nights, by guests partying in the other lodges. Rowdy, shouting and music blaring out until 3am. We gave up sitting out on the decking as we couldn't stand the noise. I'm really...

This place is so relaxing, it's one of the best places I've been too. We had a Gardners lodge for my partner and or dog. The place was lovely. Obviously a big pull in for this place was the hot tub and we used it to the max! It was relaxing and secluded enough and the staff came and checked...

Excellent mini break in a wooden lodge based near to York. Cabin clean and very warm with no use or need to light the log burner. Stayed in the 2 bedroom (1 x double and 1 x twin rooms). Kitchen ok but probably could do with bringing more up to date. Hot tub on private decking to the rear of...

Brilliant weekend away. Lovely spacious and very clean lodges. Excellent for quiet relaxation and wildlife. Badgers visited the decking area, certainly enjoyed their peanut butter sandwiches and squirrels enjoyed the bird food. Just beware of over confident squirrels trying to get in if you feed them! Would definitely return and recommend.

We stayed in a pet friendly Gardeners Lodge last week and have to say it was great. Wine & chocolates waiting for you was a very nice touch, plus tea coffee and milk. All the mod cons you need, great sized bedroom and immaculately clean bathroom. Loved the big rainforest style shower! The decking area was nicely fenced off with...

Luxury lodges set in a peaceful idillic Forrest. Words can't describe how wonderful this place is. Immaculate lodges, with spa baths and hot tubs. Our lodge (4) was beautifully secluded. Made memories to last a life time here we will be back. Highly recommend, a shout out to the very friendly helpful staff too.
