My boyfriend and I booked to go away for his birthday in February. Hoeseasons called me and said they had double booked us (we were meant to be staying a a lodge in the lakes) so we were offered a free upgrade to Griffon Forrest.... couldn't have worked out better! From the minute we arrived we were in love with... More

Stayed for a week at Griffon forest August 2016. Lodges lovely and very well equipped washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board, Hoover, hairdryer and towels beds made on arrival. Hot tub was private and big enough for 2 adults and 2 children but as stated the hot tub was hot which sounds strange but too much for me at... More

Been here numerous times and it has never disappointed. Genuinely great for dogs. We now have a very tired and happy pup after a lovely weekend sniffing rabbits and rolling in fox poo! The wildlife is fantastic. Thanks for a lovely stay.

My husband, our dog & I recently stayed in lodge 40 for a week. The first 2 nights we arrived we were kept awake by other residents (40 backs onto the cuckoo lodge). We called to complain both nights & staff did appear to come out but the noise continued to 4am. I asked to move lodges after 2 sleepless... More

Beautiful place and very peaceful. The lodges are breath taking and the hot tub was so relaxing. I think it is a bit expensive as you cant check in until 16.00 so you have missed most of the day and then you have to check out by 10.00 so we only really had 2 full days there. I also wish... More

Just returned from a 5 day stay, and wow, what a place. Upon arrival we were a little early so we were directed to the golf club a few minutes away, where we had a lovely meal while waiting for a call to say our cabin was ready. We were in lodge 53, and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, plenty... More

We stayed in poachers lodge 10 from Friday to Monday and we absolutely loved it!! Can't wait to go back. We managed to get 3 badgers on our decking, lure them in with peanut butter sandwiches!! Also highly recommend eating at tykes restaurant, the fillet steak was amazing!!

This was our first visit and was a truly fabulous holiday. The lodges are perfectly situated and at the time we visited it's difficult to see the other lodges around you so you do have considerable privacy. The hot tub was a popular choice with kids and adults alike. We were lucky enough to be visited every morning and evening... More

We booked a Gardeners Premier Lodge for our Grandson's first holiday (3 weeks old) and wanted somewhere tranquil. Griffon Forest did not disappoint. The lodge was excellent value for money and it had all the amenities we needed to have a memorable stay. The interior of the lodge had lots of nice touches from the four poster beds in each... More
