Visited as a family of 4, 2 adults and children 15 and 11. Just for food not accommodation Food was very good and the mixed grill was delicious. A couple of local beers as well. Menu is very good, one thing I'd say is that kids menu is good for younger children but my two struggled a bit as the...

We had lunch here after climbing pen y Ghent - on our route back to Manchester - so great location and parking! Food was amazing for 8 kids and 8 adults! We wanted to give the chief a hug - but he didn't take us up on the offer ( and I don't blame him) the team were so accommodating...

Fabulous meal for 20 people. Helpful, pleasant staff managed to give excellent service to a rather boisterous group and I would recommend the food, the service, value for money and the ambience wholeheartedly. Congratulations and thank you.

I have visit the Craven Arms several time in the last couple of months. The food was excellent on every occasion. There is a good selection on the menu and it is good to have smaller portions as an option for a lunch when you don't want a big meal. The staff are good, the food is presented well and...

We stayed here for two nights, from the start we were welcomed warmly. It was really nice to stay somewhere that has a great restaurant, good rooms but is still connected to the community. With a number of locals coming in for an after work drink as well as groups coming for an evening meal. Great balance, not protencious. Evening...

Excellent facilities, service and food. Have eaten here 3 or 4 times now and it has been consistently excellent. Latest trip was 25th January and the food was superb; beef wellington brilliant, gammon superb, leek and onion delicious. Cheeseboard with the fruit cake is always brilliant and the apple and sultana crumble perfect. If you haven't tried it give it...
