We met up with family for a catch up meal, Hadn't been here for a few years but it still didn't disappoint. The service was good and the food was great too. A good meeting point for all locations. If your covering east anglia.

We took our elderly aunt out for a meal here and were not at all impressed. The menu was very limited and when we eventually decided on the steak pies we were told that they were still cooking the steak and it would not be ready for us to have. This left us with very little choice and the service...

I stayed here for one night for business purposes. The premises itself is quaint and nice and the dining area is everything you would expect from a pub. The food was great and the service was excellent. I stayed in room 4 which faced the road, unfortunately it was not the best nights sleep I have had, as the road...

We have sampled this place at several points over the past 25 years. 15 years ago, it was famed for being very busy, turning out groaning plates of traditional pub fayre. They used to fill both car parks on a Saturday night. It has changed owners a few times and we hadn't been for a year or two so decided...

Went here for dinner as a last minute thing with my hubby...had decided to try it after driving past it numerous times and thinking wow it's always busy....the pub is really warm and inviting with lots of original features making it feel really cosy....staff were really friendly...the menu isn't the largest and if your fussy you may struggle to find...

As many reviewers state.....this place used to be so good (10 years or more ago). There's been several tenants over the last few years none of whom have been able to return the restaurant into the dining mecca it used to be. We knew that there were new encumbents and when we were turned away from our favourite restaurant because...

We came here about eight years ago and vowed never to return as we found something strange in my dessert. I discreetly mentioned it to a waitress who quite rightly called the manager over who was unsympathetic and damn right rude so we left vowing never to return. However, after a long trip home and a stop at several busy...

We visited the old ram as it was my sons 1st birthday as a table of 15. As there were so many of us we were asked to pre order the starter & mains which was not a problem. All of the food came out together & was hot. Everybody enjoyed the meal & although the service was slow the...

Apparently according to locals this used to be an amazing place but then it changed ownership so now has gone down hill, which goes to show it's not about the location, it's about the people. It is vastly understaffed (cost cutting exercise?) which means you have to wait interminably to check in, get served, get your bill etc etc. Food...

We went for a spontaneous evening meal. We have visited several times in recent months and whilst each meal has been very good, it's a shame that the menu keeps changing. Bring back Hunter's Chicken! Bring back the pulled pork burger! Bring back the ribs! It's a lovely atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly and helpful, it would...
