Where do I start. Easy £95 for a double room and half a breakfast. An absolute obscene rip off. Honestly our room had no TV, no radio, no wi fi, no toiletries, no welcome. Lots of slugs, beetles and spiders in the room. A 4ft 6in double. Furniture that was army surplus in the 1950's and hasn't matured with age!... More

A Warning about this B&B. The service is abysmal. By a long way the worst ever breakfast we have ever had. Owner is abrupt and unwelcoming (right from opening the door, we greeted him, and explained we had a booking. His response: "Ah, well... come in then" in a tone that says "you are bothering me") The breakfast is offered... More

In the middle of nowhere! Not that far to Canterbury or Hythe, but the roads are very narrow and dangerous around the area! The host was there to meet us and chat to us and the breakfast was adequate and tasty, although it was just all served up on the plate and we were not given a choice of how... More

Paying 110 £ for one night without breakfast is a bit too much .If you are an early bird as I am or if you have to leave early , don't expect to get breakfast even as it is schedule at 8.30 ...too late... Room was ok , walls a bit thin , I could here my neighbour snoring but... More

If I had only looked at previous TripAdvisor reviews before booking 2 nights in this out-of-the-way B&B, I could have spared my partner and myself a memory that we - for many years to come - will have to haunt us! How close were our experiences to those of Tom M, whose belated review gave us so much to laugh... More

This B&B is amazing. It's very quaint and has a real old world charm, tucked away in the beautiful countryside of the North downs area of great beauty . The owners went out of their way to help us with taxis , advised to good pubs and pointed us to some fabulous off the the tourist trail places to see... More

very much off the beaten track but idyllic setting. Had it not been for a nice welcome from their daughter Lucy we would not have stayed (although our credit card had already been charged before our arrival). Room was basic and the en suite worse than basic. Pillows like rocks and sheets and pillowcases looked old and grubby but hopefully... More

This is a belated review .. as I still cant get the experience out of my head. I try and make light of it now as I've have counselling ;-) It was so bad that it will form the basis of a script for my forthcoming TV sketch. Names will be changed though. The place looked enticing after a website... More

The gentleman who welcomed us was lovely and the building itself is stunningly quaint. There is so much potential to this place but for the following reason we will not be coming back, nor will we recommend it as a place to stay: - The walls and floors are very thin (no acoustic separation has been introduced to make this... Lovely, Tranquil setting. Rolling green, animals grazing. Very quiet and pretty with a quaint and charming country cottage. Clean and comfortable bed and pillow. However, it is basic. No toiletries provided except for handwash. No hairdryer and the tower is small. It is ok but it is not cheap. I paid 78 quid so I did expect soap and shampoo... More
