Couldn’t have been better! My young son and I stayed one night and were welcomed from arrival to departure. The room, the twin beds, the cotton sheets, the hot water, the bath, the shower, the double-glazing, the balcony, the view at the back with a beautiful horse to watch and a small lake, the plentiful breakfast, and great people ...... My daughter and I had a very memorable stay here. The location is perfect if you want to visit various locations in Kent. We visited Whitstable, Sandwich, Hern Bay, Canterbury and the beautiful village of Chillam itself. The owners are absolutely charming, making us very welcome and giving advice about the area. We will definitely stay again, we had the... More

I had a client coming over from the US and needed somewhere for them to stay. After reviewing other local accommodation, it became apparent that the friendliest, quietest most restful place I could put them was Homelea Bed and Breakfast. My client had a great stay and plans to return with their family for a holiday. Great place, fabulous hosts,... More

The B&B is situated in lovely countryside, but with access to the local town and a short drive away from Canterbury central. We had a wonderful stay and felt very welcome, Fiona provided a lovely breakfast each morning and was very friendly.

We wanted to spend the weekend in the Canterbury area and this B&B fitted the bill as a base. Our room was fine, looking out over the front garden. The only downside being that this appeared to be the one room that wasn't en-suite, our bathroom was down the corridor. When I booked it I didn't appreciate that that was... More

We were welcomed by Fiona, the owner, and shown to our room at the front of the house. It was a good sized room with tea and coffee facilities and a nice comfy double bed. Off the bedroom was our en suite bathroom with all the usual amenities plus an excellent view over a balcony down into the valley of... More

The owners of the guest house do not know anything about hospitality industry. Since we stepped into the property we just heard: "you can't do this", "I can't do this". We understand that everyone has got its own rules but you can let it know in another more polite and delicate way. The hotel is very overpriced but actually providing... More

We were very lucky to get the last room available on bank holiday weekend at this excellent B&B, we were given the School Room with stunning panoramic views of the Kent countryside, the room was huge and spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The Breakfast was delicious and cooked how we asked for it to be cooked! Fiona... More

Really lovely and comfortable stay here for 2 nights. Bed very cosy and the triple glazed window at the front of the house facing the busy road, kept the noise out. Breakfast is a sociable event sharing the large table with fellow residents. Tea and coffee available in the room a small fridge also to keep any drinks cool plus... More

We were really impressed with the warmth and hospitality of Homelea. Fiona is a great host and we arrived to a delicious slice of homemade lemon drizzle cake and a small glass of sherry, very civilized! I requested a vegetarian breakfast and expected a veggie sausage but got the whole works (full veggie English) and my husband had his full English!... More
