I have been multiple times to Sabinas Homestay now, it's the best place to relax, not far from Kathmandu, beautiful countryside, Sabina and her parents take great care of you, they make the best Dal Bath in Nepal!!!!
It was my first time in Nepal and I did not know what to expect. On our trekking tour we stayed for two days at Sabina‘s homestay. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean and on european standard. We enjoyed our delicious meals (Never had such a tasty honey) on the rooftop balkony with a beautiful view over balthali. The family was very friendly and open and did their best to make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay there again next time.
A great place to stay if you are out and about hiking in the hills around the area. I stayed two nights and trekked up to Namo Bhudda which is a good hike for any standard. The place is run by the owners parents who don’t speak English but manage to communicate and make you feel very welcome. The food is great and the place clean but basic. Definitely recommend for trekkers.
We had a great time staying at this lovely homestay. The village is breathtaking and Sabina's father showed us all the beautiful places around: we took a swim in the cristal clear river, visited the local temples, went to amazing view points... It was beautiful and dreamy! The family's house is cozy, clean and Sabina's mother cooks delicious nepali food. They are really nice and welcoming people. We had a bit of miscommunication about prices in the end, but it was sorted out peacefully. We definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a more authentic and rural nepali experience, you will not be disappointed!
I stayed 4 days in Sabina’s home with her family together. The village is amazing with beautiful scenes and people. We cooked and worked in their field together. It was a great experience for me! Thank you once again for all of this. I really recommend it!
