The hotel is situated near the river. There are lot of art spots and installations. Staff is very kind, food at the restaurant is amazing — highly recommend. It was pleasant 3 days to stay there. Total retreat.
The hotel location is perfect, right on the Dnieper river bank. The place is cosy, quiet and homely. Our family of four, including two kids, stayed in two luxury rooms with a perfect riverside view. You will meet a picturesque sunrise, have a great angling time, and visit a great picture gallery beside the hotel. The Taras Shevchenko museum is very close to share valuable insights into the history of this generous place.
Based on the prior review we decided to stay at this hotel. The people here are so nice and it is very clean. My kid has been driving their child's electronic Jeep and riding bikes. Breakfast is included, but dinner a bit pricey. A 10 minute walk to the museum, but further to town. You can rent bikes though. The restaurant on the river at the foot of the museum is great and good value. Fyi: a sign says no swimming on the river, but it's pretty. In short a great place if you want to come to Kanif. 2.5 hours from Kiev.
The Knyazha Hora Hotel in Kaniv is nice little hotel on the banks of the Dnipro river in Kaniv. They have several categories of rooms, all of which are comfortable and clean. There's also a good restaurant attached with an international cuisine. The children's room is large and well equipped with all kinds of toys. Nearby is the monument and museum for Ukraine's national writer/poet, Taras Shevchenko. I guess in summertime the river beach near the hotel will be really great. Ideal for a weekend trip from Kiev!
