First the entrance. It is not so lively. Entering the gate feels like entering an old 'lola's ' house, where the ghost hunters would like to go and check. Secondly, the hotel is not child and PWD friendly. No elevator and ramps for the stroller or wheelchair. Lastly, the price of a bottled water and a drink in can sums...

My mom brought us in Matabungkay Beach Resort & Hotel few times with family and friends. I love their big swimming pool. All staff are friendly. What I don't like is NO WIFI and Mobile Signal inside the room.

Beach was tranquil. Nice. Lots of starfish. We fed small fishes in very shallow clean water. Most of the kids in the hotel preferred swimming in the manmade pool. But my kids were looking for an adventure with the waves, so we had to walk far along the shore. In front of a different resort. At night time we played...

If you're going to Matabungkay Beach Hotel, opt to stay at the Villas instead of the Common Rooms. The Villas (Garden View/Sea View/Pool View) has more newer rooms rather than the rooms on the 3 floor building which looked like they were established on the 80's esp.the exterior part of the building.all staffs are very polite and willing to help all the...

We arrived an hour early so we've waited until our room is ready. staffs are friendly and accommodating. The hotel building is old and has dark hallways. The reception area looks old outside but inside it looks very good. Our room is located on the second floor - it feels and looks old, but very spacious and well maintain. Lighting...

This resort is a few years old but still comfortable and worth a visit. It looks like it has been refurbished. Our room was spacious. The resort has 2 large swimming pools and beach access. The food was excellent with plenty of variety. The staff were really friendly. Wifi is very slow but that is the same in most of...

I stayed here with friends and my son because we joined the Stand Up Paddling (SUP) event called The Pink Paddle Project. I knew that Matabungkay needed to improve when it came to hotels or places you can stay in Matabungkay beach, only because I grew up there before I was a teen. To my surprise the hotel was very...

We were looking for a resort nearby to take a group of people from work and batangas seemed like the best option. then I remembered, as a child, my parents and I would go to Matabungkay. So I got in contact with them and within minutes of sending an email asking for a quotation for a group, I actually got...

We booked a family room (2 rooms) via expedia. It was reasonably priced. Stayed with the family. Room: Big and spacious. The aircon was working well. Only problem we had was the bathroom, water was weak. Food: Some of the food was not reasonably priced. Overall, the food is ok. Had the crispy pata, kalderatang baka, pinakbet, puso ng saging....
