We stayed at Rose Cottage, and it was an excellent choice. Our family consisted of a mixture of ages including a Great Grandmother in her 80s, and our baby son who is nearly 2 years old. Two night stay at Ron and Frans delightful B & B in the Heart of the New Forest . Made to feel instantly welcome on arrival and lovely room comfy bed and super freshly cooked breakfast Local community shop is super and a very short walk away as is the local pub - so no need to drive either.

We stayed here last minute after planning a sudden adventure to the New Forest area. Our hosts were wonderful in every way. They are extremely kind, friendly and incredibly hospitable. Rose Cottage is enchanting. Fran and Ron are lovely people; very welcoming and have all basses covered. Nice room and a a large Conservatory/ Sittingroom all to ourselves. Dinner at the Horse and Groom (2 mins walk) was was very good. Breakfast was excellent. One day we must revisit. Scott & Wendy

The New Forest is a national park, where animals always have right of way, and they enjoy it clearly! Woodgreen is a place on the northern boundary of the New Forest, which corresponded at least my idea of a picturesque English village pretty much. One of the best B&B's we found in years! Romantic rooms, a luxurious bathroom and a tiptop breakfast. The hosts make you feel like you're royalty. And what a lovely house. Wish mine was like theirs...We highly recommend this B&B !

Everything was fantastic at Rose Cottage. Ron and Fran were warm and welcoming, making sure that every detail was covered. The cottage is in a perfect location. I would highly recommend a stay at Rose Cottage!
