This must be my third or fourth stay at this lovely old pub and it has never disappointed. I arrived early, having travelled down from Manchester - by any chance was my room ready? The lovely lady on Reception said no but she very kindly contacted housekeeping and my room was available within 30 minutes. Very spacious, spotlessly clean and the usual nice details - fresh milk and complimentary water in the fridge, well stocked hospitality tray, safe for valuables and comfortable bed. Bathroom excellent, plenty of fluffy towels totally unlike those grey and horrible things you get in some places. The voucher for a free welcome drink was a lovely touch and much appreciated, as was the discount on all food and drinks purchased at the bar. All staff were very professional and helpful, lovely to see Nancy again when I checked out. I come down to Uxbridge every year and can't imagine staying anywhere else, you are made to feel so welcome. Can't comment on the breakfast as I made alternative arrangements but bar meals were fine and again, very good value. Many thanks to everyone at The Red Lion, I will definitely be back soon.

Comfortable, quiet bedroom with everything needed. Pleasant toiletries in bathroom, plenty of fluffy white towels, quality tea ad coffee bags and a mini fridge with chilled mineral water and bottle of fresh milk. Welcoming bar in the original part of the hotel, only some of the historic building interior remains intact. good English breakfast served nice and hot at our table.

We were visiting Wembley Stadium and saw this attractive looking pub and decided to give it a try. We stayed for two nights in an executive double, including breakfast and were absolutely delighted. The rooms are excellent value for money, with a very comfortable bed and small, but adequate, bathroom. It was immaculately clean, with nice touches such as complimentary bottle of milk in the fridge. The pub is a listed building and full of original features and loads of character. It makes no pretentious to be a gourmet pub, but provides tasty pub food at a reasonable price, with a selection of excellent beers. The pub is superbly managed and the staff are committed, well trained ( a bugbear of mine in many English pubs) and really friendly. There is a special car park for residents and we just walked and used the excellent public transport into London. The pub is owned by Fullers and they have put together a superb team to manage the place. We have already booked our next stay at the end of May.

Should have been a lovely hotel but so incredibly noisy. The interior walls must be paper thin as I could hear every word of my neighbour's conversations (and I was in one of the exec rooms). Therefore not a great vibe and hardly relaxing. Staff were great but failed to let me know about the 10% discount on bar meals, drinks etc (it's publicised on the bottom of back of their key card holder, but you'd need to read it) shame that the staff didn't point that out 'up front'. As a result I'm a tad out of pocket. Disappointing.

A beautiful building, tastefully decorated with low noise air conditioning in room which was very clean and very comfortable. Shower pressure amazing! Premium tea and coffee in room. Breakfast was tasty but portions were stingy. Kept having to ask for more tea and coffee - was poured half a cup each time. Avocado with egg on sourdough was a child's portion and there was one solitary mushroom served with 2 small overcooked poached eggs on the other breakfast. A real shame. The triple cooked chips served in the bar at lunch however, were best ever.

We had a great stay here for 2 nights as a family. We chose here as it was an ideal location for travelling to Legoland Windsor and only a short drive from the tube station to visit central London. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was a choice of fresh pastries, various cooked and English breakfast.

The room itself was very spacious with a great shower, tea/coffee amenities, and a small fridge.

Parking was limited at the hotel entrance, however there is ample parking at the pub entrance.

I would recommend stopping here and we plan on doing so again.

This hotel is excellent, we had an overnight stay travelling back from holiday. We had an excellent service from all the staff throughout the stay they were all friendly. The rooms were spacious and modern, the bathroom was also modern with all toiletries you would need. The tea and coffee facilities in the room was perfect, loved the fresh milk they provided in the fridge. The pub downstairs had a nice old decor and was a lovely place to unwind after a long journey. The breakfast was first class, I would definately stay here again if I'm ever in the area and I highly recommend it to other travellers.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at the hotel, with breakfast one morning and dinner on the second evening. Hotel is well situated with bus stop close by, along with a takeaway and convenience store. Bedrooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, a laptop safe, ironing facilities, trouser press, good hairdryer, complimentary water and artisan coffees and cookies. Good quality toiletries provided and the room was serviced daily. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was of good quality, cooked to order with plenty of choice. Dinner was excellent with a creative and delicious menu. All staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in the Uxbridge area. Only small negative was the lack of power points beside the beds and ideally I would have liked an individual pot of coffee with breakfast as opposed to having to ask for a refill.

We had such a lovely stay from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was 306 which is a massive family room. We had king size bed and my girls had a bunk bed. We had a mini fridge (which was stocked with cold glasses, water and even milk), safe, opal coffee machine (with a massive selection of pods, teas, hot chocolate and biscuits etc). Lots of towels for us all to use. The bathroom was lovely and had a nice big shower, supplied with nice body wash and shampoo. We liked how the hotel had a separate entrance out the back where the hotel carpark is and you can walk through to the pub and vice versa. The area itself is lovely and quiet and we felt very safe. All of us had a great nights sleep. We plan on staying here again when we next come up to visit our family. Highly recommend to everyone.

This is an excellent hotel with a pub attached. The reception and staff are welcoming. The rooms were more than adequate. They were quiet and comfortable. We stayed with a baby and toddler and whilst during the week it felt more like a place for business stays we were made very welcome. They even made the towels into a elephant on arrival - which my toddler loved! On the plus side for adults there is a complimentary mini bottle of Prosecco or beer in the fridge and fresh milk for your hot drinks.
I also loved that the mini toiletries came in paper packaging.
Breakfast was down in the restaurant area of the pub and include all the usual offerings. The bacon was thick and poached eggs cooked to perfection.
The pub provides a good choice of food for the evenings too at a reasonable price.
We parked easily at the hotel too. Plus, when looking at a map you may think it’s too close to the main road, however hardly any of the rooms face out to the road so the noise is minimal.

Hi Kathleen The best way to get to Wembley is to take a taxi to Hillingdon Station then take the Metropolitan Line to Wembley Park. The whole journey will take half an hour. A taxi will take between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the traffic. We look forward to seeing you at The Red Lion. please feel free to contact the hotel directly if you need further help
