We've visited Grantham for 16 years and never visited such a fantastic restaurant. Living in Kent and working in London I eat at a lot of fine restaurants and gastro pubs, but this place is something else. Starter of black pudding with duck egg and apple, main of pan roasted duck, desert of blueberry cheesecake. We all had a fabulous... More

We go here about 3or 4 times a year it's. Always a great evening . The place itself is a bit like going back to the 1960s in a very good way ,the dining room is very formal but very relaxed and the staff are very good . The cheese soufflés are wonderful steaks and king prawns are always a... More

G! - sensational tastes and presentation , but decidely more-ish (though in fact too more-ish) Would I do that again, well, if i can get over the momory... More

A meal for 4 friends in the main restaurant. Service very attentive without being pushy. Dining room very good following a warm welcome in the bar. Food very good, presented well and served very well. IF you are looking for a meal well above the average then this is the place. The price reflects the very good quality food and... More

We spent two very pleasant nights at the Brownlow. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. we arrived after nine on the first night and we were told not to rush and relax, our order was taken for dinner and we were not rushed. the room was comfortable quite and well equipped. Highly recommended.

Stayed over a Saturday night to visit a friends party. Splendid room, perfect cleanliness and modern facilities. Extraordinarily welcoming and professional hosts and staff. Didn't eat in the restaurant but want to come back and do so.

The Brownlow has recently started serving lunches from Wednesday to Saturday. We gave it a try last Thursday - absolutely brilliant. Very relaxed atmosphere as it was not as busy as it is in the evenings. Food as to be expected was outstanding.

Visiting family to celebrate my wife special birthday, The Brownlow Arms was recommended to us. Great location through small roads in the countryside, arrived and enjoyed a nice glass of bubble in the busy bar lounge, full of what it seems regulars, great atmosphere. Led to table, we were 6 of us, and were really looked after. Food was great... More

My husband and I celebrated our 52nd Wedding Anniversary yesterday and we went to the Brownlow Arms for a wonderful meal. We knew it would be good as we have been before and we were not disappointed. The staff were lovely, their service was excellent and the food was great. Thank you Brownlow Arms for helping us to celebrate.
