Arrived too late to sample what looked like could be a very good dining experience. The room was spacious with a bed to match that was real comfort. Staff were friendly and drinks were reasonably priced. A good hearty breakfast served in the morning was a welcome start to the new day. With a cuckoo blessing the grounds with its... More

Another hotel found by accident - actually booked by Leo of Allington Manor - because I wanted to explore around Belvoir Castle after a business appointment. I arrived around 2pm, or perhaps a little earlier, thinking it would be too late to get something to eat but, not only were they still serving, the meal was also delicious. Unusually, for... More

We spent a very enjoyable Monday night at the Manners Arms, an overnight stopover on our journey home from Norfolk to Cumbria. It is a lovely, large historic building, set in a peaceful setting on a quiet road at the edge of a small village. There is ample parking in front of the hotel. Our room (at the top of... More

Fantastic venue for an intimate wedding with really friendly and helpful staff. They are a very efficient and the facilities were great down to the portaloos which were very pleasant! Food is good as well as the beer and the selection available. A little gem. Worth a sat or sun lunch and a pint.

We had a lovely lunch here on a Saturday. There are a few baguettes and paninis to choose from as well as larger meals. Gorgeous setting and lovely garden which unfortunately we couldn't use due to a wedding being held. My only complaint is they didn't offer smaller portions for kids so we were forced to fork out nearly £8... More

Nice helpful staff, good location, in the village of Knipton, close to Grantham and Belvoir Castle and the Vale of Belvoir. Nice scenery. The hotel offered nice, very nice food, well presented. Sticky table surfaces and floors! Otherwise very good.

Having heard good things, we came with friends on a Saturday evening for a meal - booked in the bar as a wedding reception was taking place elsewhere (fab setting for it and sounded like people were enjoying the event!). Staff who served us were young and personable - a great asset. Drinks were served quickly then we sat with... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Thank you for your kind comments about the venue and the staff. I am very sorry to hear about your issues with the food and the service on this surprisingly busy evening - this is certainly not normal practice and had we have known how busy it was going to be... Managed to book a table for four (wife, two sons and me), in the bar. Was pleasantly surprised when we came upon this splendid old place on the edge of Knipton. There was plenty of room to park and the grounds looked inviting and well maintained. Inside there was a warm welcome from the bar staff and we were quickly... More

We had a family lunch here on a sunny afternoon so we were able to eat outside on a lovely terrace. The food and service were excellent. The quiet ambience of the place added to the enjoyment of a pleasant occasion. The pub is set in idyllic countryside and is a wonderful venue for a convivial meal. The dining room... More
