I would recommend visitors to pulau ubin, not to stay there, do cycling, look around places, have good food and return to singapore by evening. I heard camping in pulau ubin is not safe(may be a rumour), so booked this hotel S$100/night, which is not worth for money.
The standard chalet is not a chalet, it is a tiny room that is not maintained. it looked like the resort is closing down. The whole resort was very run down. Toilet was also tiny and the door could not be closed. Left after a couple of hours as the state of the room was…
Went with a group of 10 friends for the trip from 13th to 14th Oct 2015.(All Guys) Place is a 5 mins walk from the jetty. Last time to the resort was managed by the Civil Service Club more than 10 years ago. Charm of the old Kampong spirit is still there, but the whole place…
One of my friends invited me to pay a visit at Pulau Ubin, out of curiosity i gave it go! Took a ferry at Tanah Merah and reached the island shortly. There is nothing much to see aside from the flock of stores offering bike rentals and small convenient stores. Walk few minutes…
everything is average, since we don't have other better choice in pulau ubin for stay, we chose tjis place. it's really expensive ... with the same price, you can stay in 4/5 star hotels in the city. staff are friendly. not very clean but acceptable, aircon water leaking.
"not to stay"
"Consider camping as camping site on the other side of the island is so much cleaner than this place!"
"If you got no choice but to stay in this resort, please request for the room AWAY from the Generator. The sound is extremely loud that you will never be able to rest. And do not be deceive or cheated by the Filipino Staff mending the counter."
"Get rooms that faces the sea to enjoy the great sunsets"
"*Ask for the first/ second unit room that facing the sea. *Check the bathroom and tap water. *Don't buy mineral from the resort, it's expensive. You can cycle to nearby store to get it half price. :)"
