Stayed here with my family. Charming, quaint place with million dollar views. The building itself is old, musty smelling and outdated, which only adds to the character of the place. Food was "Yukon" priced, but okay. The huge downside was the staff members, except the male server in the restaurant, who was nice. The younger lady at the reception first... More

I didn't have high expectation after reading reviews here but it turned out to be pretty good. The room was old, but clean, good enough for one night stay. We ate at the cafeteria, the service was so so but the food was good. We also fixed our flat tire and washed our car here. This is the only place... More

Halfway to the middle of everywhere and nowhere, this was clean, warm, dry, quiet, and the staff were so accommodating. The views all around the hotel are amazing, having gas and food available all in one place where you can stay is perfect. Thank you so much I look forward to coming back!

After reading some of the scathing reviews I took it all with a grain of salt and hoped for the best, we had no option! The woman that booked us in was very unfriendly and rude when I asked a question. I felt that we should apologize for pulling her out from her eyrie behind the glass. The room wasn't... More

Let's face it - this is your one and only option in the middle of the Dempster Highway. If your expectations are properly aligned, you will enjoy your stay. If you need five star lodging, you might ask yourself why you are travelling in the fringes of the Yukon Territory in the first place. My friend stayed in the room... More

This is the ONLY place that you can stay if you are (wisely) breaking your journey up the Dempster into two days. The vista is absolutely magnificent - flanked by fireweed looking out over a plateau. It's bare bones though. They only have 6 powered sites, and you can fill up on water, but no dumping. We loved it there.... More

Having read some of the reviews before our Dempster Highway trip, we were expecting the worth. The reality: a very classical north-american motel, quite large, with a canteen-type dining-room and a more cosy saloon-type bar where you can also have dinner served. The food is standard and good given that everthing has to be brought from (very) far. Service is... More

Very friendly people, really nice lounge, good food and service. Not cheap of course but what would you expect in the middle of the Dempster Highway. The gas and mechanical services for about 250 miles in either direction. Even if you don't stay there get food and gas. The room was very clean, comfortable and quite.

We visited this restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast: In the morning the restaurant itself was open. It is a nice restaurant with a good and casual atmosphere. The egg dishes in the morning were very good. Dinner: In the evening after 4.30 pm we were seated in the bar for dinner. Because the motel was fully booked, there were... More
