This Hotell has everything! Great food, a wonderful atmosphere, polite employees, nice rooms, a spa which is intimate and private at the same time, and everything is made in pact with the nature. The owners have really succeeded in making this place special. When you book the room and breakfast/dinner package, you need to pay extra for the wine package...

I have been to this truly beautiful place three times before and never get tired of returning. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, and the attention to details (especially the suites) are magnificent. Also the dinner, the wine and the breakfast is really good. I want to write some reasons why Fjällnäs dont get fullscore from me this time: Some...

There are more than 130 years ago the first guests arrived Fjällnäs to breathe the fresh mountain air and be in the middle of nature.Today, well wrapped in a thoughtful, stylish scandinavian design, well thought out and in, and the pleasure arises early.Easter Week and full speed at the hotel with its 40 rooms plus. Guess it's not every day...

This is the first time I've ever felt the urge to write a review but this place is so nice and so under visited (at least at the time of writing) that I've decided to chime in. If you like the combination of remote yet accessible wilderness, Scandinavian aesthetic, excellent new Nordic cuisine and a nice hot soak and a...

We spend NYE and 4 more nights at th Fjallnas hotel. It's not an easy place to reach if you come from abroad. We needed to take 3 flights and a taxi for an hour to get to the hotel. Once at the hotel, we felt rally welcomes by the staff and teh owners. The hotel consists of several separate...

My girlfriend and I were on a prolonged weekend getaway at Fjällnäs, Sweden's oldest mountain hotel. We've tried similar places and getaways throughout the Nordic countries but so far Fjällnäs is the best place we've visited. Fairly priced, the staff was extremely kind, calm and helpful. At night, we enjoyed a three course tasting of the local cuisine with wild...

Although variable weather we had a memorable weekend at Fjallnas. The people is very friendly and service-minded. The food excellent with a good choice of wine to go with it. Rooms are spacious and very practical for both summer and winter sport activity. I liked color and pattern of the textiles - nice solid Scandinavian architecture!

We did not stay at the hotel, but bought a Spa and dinner package, which was good value for money! The spa is simple, but beautiful, you can walk straight from the sauna to the cold lake outside. The view from the hot pool is stunning. We came out feeling utterly relaxed. We were then treated to an excellent three...

Just cauae we did bot apear to be wealthy city residents, we would not expect to be treated with less service (and less a friendly smile). We are disapointed to say the least. Though the location and facilites are top notch.
