Aghazadeh Historical Complex in Abarkooh, with an area of five thousand square meters, is located in the old parts of the city. Interestingly, the image of its 2-floor wind-catcher (badgir) is printed on the 20 thousand Iranian Rial banknote. After two years of renovation in accordance with the highest levels of standards, the complex is ready to host guests. This complex includes five historical buildings including the Aghazadeh mansion, the Seyyed Ali Agha House, Mousavi House, Hosseini House and Gabri House. 3 of these Houses have been converted to residential units and a boutique hotel. All the rooms have standard amenities such as air conditioning and fan coil heating and cooling systems, free internet access, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, and toiletries. The restaurant and the coffee shop are in Aghazadeh Mansion. The guests are invited to taste Iranian and local cuisine in an attractive and peaceful environment. All of the five houses are connected through the roof which overloo

Been working with this property for few years and enjoyed staying there with my clients in early 2019. I very much liked the authentic hotel and its roof top cafe that mostly work in summer time in order to have a extraordinary landscape of old district.

Bright clean, comfortable room, with own bathroom. Service good, food ok. No wifi, or at least if it did, I couldn't make a connection. Interesting, unusual and beautiful place to stay, would recommend it.

Abarkouh is between Shiraz & Yazd, a good place to stop & stay one night in one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in Iran in this small town. Aghazadeh is very artistically restored, very interesting architecture, the tall wind catcher ( Badgir) also with comfortable rooms. You can go up, enjoy the quietness of the area & enjoy the impressive view. it is amazing, this wind tower is portrayed on the money.

This is a jewel of a hotel. So beautiful. The owners have taken a risk in turning this complex of five beautiful houses, as Abarkooh is not on the beaten track for neither Iranians nor Travelers. But the fact that this hotel is there should be enough to pay a visit to this calm and beautiful part of country. The hotel is wonderful, the staff are great, and the food is home made and delicious. The roof of the buildings is amazing, both during the day and at night. It truly is a place to stay in for longer time, we unfortunately did not have time. We had gone to see the 4000 year old Cypress tree, and was so pleasantly surprised by the hotel complex as well as the city it self. Do not Stop by, stay there !

Abarkuh is a great place to stop between Yazd and Shiraz. I decided to visit Abarkuh to see the 4000 year old tree! I wasn't expecting to find one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in Iran in this small lovely town with its hospitable people. The hotel is beautifully restored. The rooms are comfortable and the staff eager to make your stay memorable. I enjoyed the quietness of the place, climbing up the stairs to the roof at as the sun was about to set was an amazing experience as not only the architecture of the windtower is impressive to see up close but the view was also stunning. Highly recommended.
