We stayed here on our way to Provence. A young family owns and operates this place amid the corn fields. Very sweet gardens and lots of areas for children to explore. We had a nice stay and enjoyed the folks we me there as well.

Lovely old converted mill on the river. The rooms are really in need of some decoration, lilac walls & red bedspread are very 60s but saying that our room overlooked the river and it had everything that we needed in it. We took are dog & she was allowed in the restaurant both for dinner & breakfast. Dinner was delicious... More

One comes here for the food, the situation of the hotel, and the ambiance. The rooms are very ordinary - and very French with toilet in closet, not in main bath. Size of the room was adequate. Bolster on bed rather than separate pillows. I found staff very friendly. So come here for delightful food (out on the terrace the... More

The exterior of this hotel & the setting is superb. We were filled with expectations when we arrived, but these were quickly disappointed. The interior is basically very tired & in need of some refurbishment. Although elderly, my husband had to carry a very heavy suitcase up to the third floor. The room was spacious but once again quite basic... More

This hotel was chosen due to is proximity to Branges - for a Le Boat holiday. It's a converted old flour mill built over a river. Our room was long and narrow - very dim lighting, but spacious enough. The room and attached bathroom were spotlessly clean. There is no lift, so quite a climb to the top floor. Their... More

The hotel is a lovely old mill, located a foot-walk from the small town of Louhans with his ancient arcades. Hotel rooms interior seems to be mostly from the 1980's, a few details are renovated. This is the case in the suite, where a recently made bathroom with a huge Sauna was installed. Unfortunately there is no shower in that... More

Lovely spot on our way back from South of France to UK. The old flour mill, built in 1778 spans a river. Hear the lulling sound of water from your room. Italian chef - and has the quality label "restaurateur de France". Food wonderful and the risotto with truffle "historic" as was the poulet de Bresse. Second Tim here and... More

Stayed one night at this beautiful old mill located on the tranquil River Seille on the outskirts of Louhans, some 300 metres from the railway station, but a drive from the centre of town. The restaurant is situated on the 1st floor and is a beautiful room with ancient wooden beams. Set dinners start at 25 euros and are of... More

This hotel is located just outside the city centre of Louhans. The city is very nice and the location of this hotel is wonderful. Very green, very peaceful. Unfortunately, we did not like the hotel itself. It seemed all a bit rundown. Doors that did not close because they did not fit properly (of bathroom, shower, cabinets), dirty toilet. Furthermore: there... More

an impressive looking property is all I can compliment this hotel on. A gentleman gave us a key to our... More
