We took the Woodland Cottage and found ample space for our family of five. The Cottage was very well equiped with all you need. We enjoyed the fact that there were only a couple of cottages on the site, That made it very tranquil. But also the fact that we had very nice neighbours added to the good experience. We... More

We just got back from a wonderful weekend in Burton In Lonsdale. A tucked away little gem of a cottage with conservatory on the front that is so cosy, I spent hours out there. We were left bird food and there is a stone gatepost opposite that you can put bird food on. It was alive in minutes and kept... More

We booked the cottage from the accommodation for dogs page on FB as we had difficulty in finding somewhere for 4 adults and 5 dogs, Anne was very understanding and didn't have a problem with accommodating us. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised as the cottage was bigger than it looked, the kitchen had everything you needed, the living room... More

We arrived at this little hideaway with the directions which was sent to us by Anne I think without these we wouldn't have found it. When we landed it was dark but the lights where on in the cottage and it was really tranquil, inviting and lovely and warm. The lounge has an open plan kitchen which is modern but... More

we stayed at the woodland cottage for a week with our two children, aged 9 and 11. the cottage is wonderfully set up with modern kitchen, bathrooms, heating, wi-fi, sky tv etc, but still keeping its old world charm. lots of comfy lounges around the cottage are great for sitting and reading and our girls loved playing around the split... I stayed in the cottage with a friend and our dogs in September. I can not recommend this highly enough! (although part of me doesn't want to share it as I might not be able to get a booking). The cottage is beautiful and really well equiped. The rooms are bigger than they look on the website. The kitchen has... More
