Well cottage was the first B&B on our South-England tour. We four stayed in the garden cottage which provides two bedrooms, both with bathroom. Air and beds in the garden cottage appeared a bit moisty or humid, but totally acceptable. Both Richard and Liz were great hosts, welcoming us with a drink and a cake and a chat. Breakfast was...

A warm welcome on arrival with friendly and accommodating hosts. Sitting drinking tea in the lovely garden after a long drive was wonderfully relaxing. A table was booked for us for our evening meal at a local recommended pub and breakfast the next morning was a beautifully cooked full English. We were only able to stay the one night but...

We couldn't have chosen better for our brief visit to Kent and found ourselves staying at Well Cottage where we were warmly welcomed, had great comfort and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Being able to enjoy tea in the evening sunshine in the garden was the icing on the cake!

My daughter was getting married in Ticehurst and chose to stay at Well Cottage with her bridal party the night before; the rest of her party stayed on after the wedding. It was the perfect place - the cottage itself a 'safe haven' for those not having hair and make-up done, the pavilion the 'centre of operations'. We were made...

We were so glad we chose to stay at Well Cottage. Firstly; Richard & Liz were the most welcoming and charming and considerate of hosts. The cottage is also ideally located for exploring so many local attractions, from Bodium Castle to Bedgebury Pinetum to Tulley's Farm (a must for children). The country cottage is exactly that; in the country, so...

I stayed at the Well Cottage B&B for one night, while doing en ecological survey in the area around Ticehurst. Richard and his wife proved incredibly helpful and open from the initial enquiry by email, first offering me a great deal for the double room and then agreeing on hosting my colleague as well, while still offering us a great...
