My friend and I stayed for just one night. I had the smallest room but it was still perfectly big enough and there was everything you could possibly want. My friend had the large room upstairs with fantastic views and the room was huge. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and hosts were friendly and helpful. Really nothing to even slightly grumble about. We had a lovely time and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. The only thing that we thought would improve it was some fresh fruit at breakfast or larger selection of cereal but I am being really picky now!
This is a very modern place, and the floors in our room were tiled, so the overall vibe is shiny and new, rather than cosy. This makes the breakfast room a light and lovely space with its glass wall looking across the garden to the fields beyond. But it made our bedroom feel a bit like a hostel, particularly with the very small bathroom and confined space around the bed. I note that the current owners inherited the purpose built B&b with its narrow doorways and have done much to alleviate its starkness by providing quality towels, robes and toiletries etc. There is also a complimentary homemade icecream offered each day, a nice touch. Breakfast was ok, but no fruit was on offer. Remote controlled gates provided secure parking.
My wife and I stayed here last night on our Kent "mini break". This is a beautiful and spotless place to stay. On a very hot night, we were given a cool room on one side of the house and although with all windows to help in keeping cool and whilst I could hear some traffic outside this morning, it is nevertheless a tranquil and immaculately kept "haven". It has amazing gardens too. Owners Harriet and Oliver were delightful hosts and the fresh, original and well cooked breakfasts they prepared for us were an absolute delight. (As was Harriet's home made ice cream - offered when we arrived!). What a treat this was!
Stayed here for 1 night with my wife, could not fault anything. Very friendly welcome from both Oliver and Harriet, the room was modern and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area,10/10. Thank you for an excellent stay, Darren & Barbara.
A truly amazing place we didn't want to leave. Stunning gardens surround the house creating a wonderful 1st impression that continues once stepping inside the beautiful building. Everywhere is bright, contemporary, elegant, spacious and spotlessly clean. Our room was marvellous, beautiful tiled floors, huge comfortable bed, huge shower, lovely furniture and decor and the best surprise - trio fold doors leading to a patio with table and chairs to sit and enjoy the amazing views. Breakfast was unique and lovely and Harriet and Oliver are the perfect hosts. Looking forward to staying again soon.
