Today I took my 76 year old mum and my two kids, 21 and 23 for afternoon tea at the Bull as a birthday treat for mum. I had been once before with friends and I have to say things haven't changed. The welcome was friendly, service was efficient, not over fussy and the decor was too cute. We were...

Went to lunch in the restaurant on New Years Day. Expected just to be fed. Well I was, and some. I have been using this pub and restaurant for many years and I expected that after Christmas and new year, the standards might slip. They didn't. It was all first class, food, service, ambience, in fact everything. The team, led...

We stayed here as a couple just overnight whilst visiting family. The rooms are small but well equipped and there was everything we needed for a one nighter. We had room 2 which is a twin room on a split level. This is a busy place and there are often functions in the function room as there was on the...

Went to a friends wedding at the Bulls Head Hotel and stayed overnight. The wedding venue and accommodation was excellent. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The decor throughout the hotel was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

We can't thank Jane and her team enough for making our wedding reception so special. Beautiful rooms, great hog roast and wonderful staff. Fabulous venue. Parking a little difficult but manageable. They were able to smooth over any small problems, nothing was too much to achieve. Very professional team.

Well what can I say?! We stayed/ate at the hotel the night before the big day. The hotel staff were fantastic! Dinner and breakfast were worth every penny. The wedding was amazing from starts to finish. I've got to say that the Jane the events host is out of this world. She absolutely added all the finishing touches and made...

Firstly a lovely well maintained modern looking hotel in a good location too. Every member of staff I came across were both extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was to a high standard and for the price, booked direct, good value. Two different bars to drink and eat at with a simple yet adequate menu and good choice of beers,...

This was a lovely friendly hotel. We stayed in room 1. Very spacious comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a delight with lovely surroundings . The teacup lights were quirky and made me smile. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
