Just a couple of rooms in this lovely home. Balcony allows you to listen to the chorus of birds in the garden and wood below. Lovely comfy bed and wonderful fresh cooked breakfast. When booking just make sure you ask about payment arrangements as it is just a small business. Wonderful people, great location, boutique style bedroom

I have stayed here twice so far when working in the area and will do so again. Good size rooms, clean, and fantastic cooked breakfast in the morning, freshly made just the way you like it. The owners also have a large set of DVDs on a bookcase in the hall that you can borrow from, together with a DVD... More

Beautiful house and stunning gardens, you feel as if in middle of forest, stunning autumn colours from huge trees. Our room had a balcony overlooking garden, beautiful view to wake up to. Immaculate room, lovely extra touches, bath products, cotton wool, tissues, soaps, etc. Tea tray very well stocked. Loved the magazines, all up to date. Bed linen smelt divine.... More

First stay out together with my now wife. Very friendly and the best breakfast ever! Lovely view out of the bedroom over a leafy garden, away from the road. Great bedroom with spacious bathroom/toilet area.

We stayed here for one night before my father had a sailing event nearby. Rita was a very welcoming hostess. The rooms were spotlessly clean and although the weather was terrible the view was still breathtaking. We will certainly key stay again if we should ever be in the area.

We had two nights at Heather Gables and can only say how perfect everything was. Beautiful garden, even though it was raining it still looked lovely, and such a wonderful breakfast. All four of us had something different - all equally delicious. Best bed ever! And the bed linen top quality.Super place and can only recommend it highly.

We had two lovely nights at Heather Gables. An immaculate room, spacious bathroom and pretty view. Everything has been carefully thought of including a hairdryer, a torch and KitKats on the tea tray (much excitement at that!). Rita made us a fantastic breakfast on both mornings and nothing was too much trouble including ordering a taxi for us when we... More

Top quality room and breakfast, and friendly and helpful hosts. If I was running a B & B, this is what I would aim for. Highly recommended. Very convenient for M27 Junction 8. A bit of road noise at night with windows open (it was a hot night) but nothing serious.

My room overlooked a beautiful garden of rhododendrons. I was made very welcome and the house was extremely tidy and clean. Rita provided a wonderful breakfast and when I left my phone charger behind, she kindly posted it on to my home. Robert Williams, Hertfordshire
