Detailed Reviews
We staid for a week and really enjoyed walking on one of the best walking beaches in Mexico. Most of the beach is fairly flat and it's like soft concrete - easy for walking while keeping an eye out for whales. If the clouds are right you get some spectacular sunsets right out in front of the units. Sol Pacifico Cerritos is eco friendly with a large solar installation that powers the whole resort (ask Tony for a tour of the installation if you are interested - it is quite interesting). Many good restaurants are nearby (easy driving distance) in Pescadero and Todos Santos and the Beach ?club which also has good food is in easy walking distance along the beach. The units have complete kitchens so it is up to you how much you want to eat out (ask Tony about raiding his wonderful nearby fresh veggy patch). The infinity pool is very large and a pleasure to look at and use.

Luxurious and best beach location on the Baja. The food is fantastic and the sunsets amazing. The owners treat you like family! If you can get lucky enough to stay you won’t be disappointed! We have been coming since it was just a concept and it is now truly amazing!

SolPacifico is a 5 star condo resort property on the only Pacific side swimmable beach 1.5 hours north of Cabo. We've stayed here half a dozen times. 1, 2 and 3 BR condos. All ocean front. The largest pool in Baja, miles of beach, finest gym, tennis court, awesome ocean front Palapa restaurant with unparalleled service. A staff that can and will do anything for you. All without the crush of Cabo humanity. You are 10 minutes from great artsy Todos Santos with unique restaurants. 2 minutes from the Cerritos surf break.
Nothing better than sitting poolside or on the balcony watching the whales slide by. You have to be here to believe it.

The location is nice if you are looking for isolated and quiet. The condo we had was clean and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen suplies etc, We found it a little over priced for what it is though. We chose this instead of a house to rent as we thought it was closer to things as the write up promotes but you have to drive everywhere except the beach club which is not open for dinner as it closes at 6pm so we had to drive to town for dinner each night. We expected the beach club to be busier. it is great to go hang out at (5 minute walk down beach) and we got some more company there in the day as the condo complex was empty.
There was no one else staying at the complex and for some this is what you may like but we like to meet other people and hang out by the pool with some people watching so we found it a bit isolated. The place is under construction but they were quiet and did not interupt us at all, just good to know when you arrive so you are not thrown off. The facility is very family friendly with shallow pools and a swing and climbing structure.
If you are going with a larger group or looking for a really quiet spot this is a perfect spot. The grounds are stunning, beach is amazing...flat and great for running/walking. Good beginner surfing and lots of rental stuff available in walking distance.

We stayed for 5 days at Sol Pacifico for a wedding in October. The property is clean, right on the beach and for the most part, a nice place to stay. It was after the hurricane so not everything was in working order. We were on the 4th floor with no elevator, dishwasher broken mid stay and then during the first few days, no working tv because maintenance man couldn't fix it and spotty internet. We were still working while traveling so we needed internet. When we checked out, I inquired about a discount on the nightly rate, the women at the front desk was very rude. If you advertise yourself as a "luxury rental" you have to have these essentials running or reduce your nightly rate until they are fixed. This is just good business practice. If you are planning a stay here, just make sure these things are operating.

Beautiful condo located on the beach. A fantastic facility for a family vacation; great pool and hot tub, swings and restaurant. The kitchen in the condo is perfect for quick meals and snacks but the restaurant has delicious food a step away and a quick drive to Todos Santos. Great surf just a walk down the beach with a beach club. Very relaxing vacation spot with options for daily activities.

My review falls in alignment with most of the other reviews... this was the most peaceful vacation we've ever had. This year has been very busy for both of us and we really needed to decompress. Where to begin.... Sol Pacifico is about a 65-75 min drive from SJD, so definitely rent a vehicle. Very easy to drive to the area. We stopped off at the Mega to pick up food.
We stayed at Sol Pacifico for 4 days (M-F) and I should have booked an additional day. We went during the off season, so we pretty much had the place by ourselves.
Sol Pacifico isn't a hotel. Owners rent out their condominiums. We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit, full kitchen equipped with everything you need and more than spacious (with a huge bathroom and powder room). It's a small condo compound, so you won't see a lot of people. There is some construction, but its minimal.
The gym was immaculate. We only went twice, but the equipment was more than adequate. I lift and was able to get in a challenging workout. The location is secure. The grounds were well maintained and the infinity pool was superb. Peaceful beyond belief. Karen Santos was my primary point of contact as I had many questions (lol). She was very knowledgeable and provided some great recommendations. The staff members were very attentive and helpful. We had massages on the beach. Each morning, we walked down to the beach. Very few people were around.
The onsite restaurant isn't a full service restaurant like at a hotel, but its still very nice and comfortable. The peace and calm were exactly what we needed. Watching the sunset each day was the icing on the cake for me. I'm a nature nerd so this place fit the bill. The other guests/owners were all very friendly. We drove into Todos Santos and ate at some of the local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would definitely return.

We just returned from a nine-day vacation at Sol Pacifico Cerritos. We had stayed in the area in the past but this was our first time at SPC.
Our family of five stayed in a two bedroom condo which had more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the amenities and each unit has a washer and dryer.
There is a ton to do in the area but our family was content to spend our time at the beach, the pool, the gym or tennis court, and exploring Todos Santos. The workout facility is state of the art.
The staff is amazing! Their attention to detail is unmatched.
Do not be fooled by the small menu at LaPalapa, one evening we had fresh-caught tuna (Amazing!) and the next night they served lobster (Excellent!) which had been caught that day as well.
If we did not have "life" to do back at home, we would be on the next flight back! :)
We are looking forward to our next time at Sol Pacifico Cerritos!

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Sol Pacifico near Todos Santos, Mexico. I won't go into exhaustive details here but if you are looking for something not in the heart of the action in Cabo that is in a luxury setting on the beach with an amazing pool and gym, Sol Pacifico can't be beat.
The condos are gorgeous and on par with a luxury apartment / condo in the U.S., with a gourmet kitchen (coffee maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, trash compactor, oven), washer / dryer, good AC and beautiful bathrooms. The condo we stayed in was as nice if not nicer than most 5 star resorts we've been to, including the Ritz Carlton.
I have forgotten how nice it is to be able to make some meals. Since we usually stay at resorts I typically go out every day for coffee and all meals, which quickly adds up for a week or longer trip. I stocked up on food in Walmart before I arrived to Sol Pacifico and really enjoyed cooking myself Mexican style breakfasts each day and making my own coffee. I saved a lot of money and I really enjoyed cooking because I don't do it often.
The condo we stayed in had a front and center view of both the incredible Infinity pool and the beach. Again, among the best ocean views I have seen that topped some rooms that go for $700 a night in resorts. We also enjoyed hanging out on the back porch at times which offered a more private surrounding to enjoy the stunning ocean view (perfect for that morning coffee time).
The owner and staff are fantastic. From Valentine to the owner Tony, to all the friendly staff we had absolutely no complaints. We were given treats without asking while we lounged by the pool (wonderful fresh vegetables with chili and olive oil, tequila) and if you choose to drink some of the beers or drinks they have by the pool it is a very reasonable $1 each (again we marveled how resorts would charge $7 each). All the staff had warm smiles on their faces at all times and I have never seen a staff go to such lengths to keep everything spotless and clean all over the place.
The Infinity pool was simply amazing. It seems to span half the length of a football field in length. It is HUGE. There is a swim up bar (you'd have to serve yourself since it isn't staffed) under the shade, but the rest of the pool is exposed in the sun, so be sure to wear sunscreen if you visit it. The sun will quickly burn skin that isn't used to that UV factor. The pool is not only huge but totally stunning in its beauty.
We didn't get down to the beach much because we were so in love with the pool. The beach is swimmable, however waves can be medium to large most of the time, so anyone going into the water should be able to swim.
We explored places nearby within walking distance. The Beach Club is a fun little place about 3/4 a mile from SPC. We had some drinks on a hot day. The margaritas were fantastic. Beware of flies though, they are relentless. Another night we went to a restaurant called Freesouls just up the road a bit from the Beach Club. They have a saltwater pool that you can take a dip in before, during or after your meal. That was a first for me, but it was very hot and I had a bathing suit on so I did it and it really was sweet. Food was very good, but short of outstanding.
We explored nearby Todos Santos a bit and liked what we found, however it was very hot during the day so we couldn't walk around too much. Visited Hotel California one day and ate a meal. Good food, not outstanding. Went to Tequila Sunrise another day across the street and had the famous chiles rellenos, and they were indeed outstanding. The best I've had.
The standout for us turned out to be a restaurant called Hierbabuena. It is off the beaten path just before you get into Todos Santos down a dirt road. The food is AMAZING. Not only the best I've had in Mexico but some of the best I've had anywhere. It is a farm to table concept situation quite literally in a farm within a garden that is maintained beautifully. The food is same-day fresh, so if you order a salad the greens and vegetables were literally just plucked out of the ground. The difference is amazing. I kept remarking how it seemed like something we'd find in Yountville (like the French Laundry which has the same practice) and indeed it turns out the owners did spend some time in Napa, which explains it (I won't say they attribute their success to being in Napa but it certainly seems to have influenced their concept which works so well). We LOVED this place and went for dinner 3 times and would have gone more if time allowed.
All in all we loved our trip and if you want serenity and no crowds, SPC is the place for you.
One final note: if you rent a car from the airport which you'd pretty much have to in order to get to Sol Pacifico, be careful if you go into Cabo to get groceries. Have detailed maps printed out before you go or buy a cell plan to cover data on your cell so that you can look at maps. We got lost in Cabo and wasted a lot of time trying to find Walmart. Also, if you get stuck on one of the "retorno" roads on the side of the main highway, SLOW DOWN! Huge speed bumps appear out of nowhere and if you are going too fast you can easily blow your tires out or worse. Definitely takes a little getting used to driving in Mexico proper, so be careful.

A beautiful resort we had the privilege of staying at recently that blew us away!
With its luxurious and spacious accommodations we were transported into paradise every way we turned. The infinity pool is one of the most beautiful swimming pools we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Sunsets in a hammock quickly became our evening ritual.
Valentin the hotel manager and Edna the office manager were wonderful hosts and treated like royalty. They arranged for a rental car for us to be brought out to us and even drove us to a grocery store our first night before we had transportation. Wonderful, Wonderful people and resort. I recommend Sol Pacifico to anyone looking for peace and relaxation in an incredibly beautiful and well maintained property. Thanks again Valentin and Edna.
