I’m a past guest and I can assure you that my recent experience at the new Rancho Pescadero was incredible. The unique , luxurious and calm feeling that RP had is there and so much more! From the moment you open the door and walk through the front reception , down the botanical garden path you relax and your vacation starts. The employees are there to further assist you ,they are knowledgeable about their surroundings and so much more . The Garden Restaurant menu is mouth watering, tomato soup, goat , sweet potato dessert just to name a few. The garden supplies the produce further encouraging social responsibility. There is more a full service spa, classes on soap making, floral bouquets and you can still fall asleep under a palapa. It’s a reopening that was highly anticipated and it met my expectations and so much more . …
We recently stayed at Rancho Pescadero in January 2023. As a returning guest, I was nervous about the multiyear remodel and expansion of the hotel. I am pleased to say that the hotel is so beautiful, the design and attention to detail was extraordinary. We had a wonderful dinner, enjoyed the pools, experienced the SPA and Yoga classes. All in all, it was a perfect visit and we are super happy to have Rancho Pescadero back in business.
We had visited Rancho several times before the UnboundxHyatt partnership and renovation. I was a bit nervous to return, having been transformed from a magical hideaway with a few dozen rooms and custom coffee dropped outside your door each morning into a corporate property with over 100 rooms... WELL - I was not disappointed. Rancho is only better - the magic has been protected, expanded, and deepened. The renovation continues to honor the land on which it sits. Rancho geotagged all the plants from the dunes and nurtured them in a greenhouse, keeping 98% alive over the 4 years of construction of oceanside villas, where they were replanted to hide the dozen waterfront rooms from view. As for the guest experience, there's a great program of activities to keep you busy and showcase the property and its home culture and land. The intensely qualified spa technicians are enhanced by the spectacular architecture and layout of the spa as well as a unique spa menu. Food is world class and fresh (much grown on property), not surprisingly, given the enthusiastic oversight by a Waldorf Astoria veteran, Sandro. And his team can BAKE! Those croissants - best since Paris..! And morning coffee doesn't come to your door, but a fresh herb/fruit infused water does, along with a fresh little baked goodie of the day and some fruit. The property just reopened, so there were some minor service delays and scheduling hiccups, but nothing out of order for a soft-opening stay. DO IT and if you can, treat yourself to an Ocean Villa, with direct access to the endless beach, a pool of your own, and an outdoor shower too!…
Our stay at Rancho Pescadero was one of the most memorable trips we have ever had. We came for a mini-honeymoon and felt so pampered from the moment we arrived. We were blown away by the layout, the facilities, the garden, the food at the restaurant was incredible (straight from the garden), the included yoga every morning, the baja blend class/garden tour and ceviche class (leading to a full lunch!), the beautiful cabanas on the beach, etc. The delicious coffee and snacks in the room. The service was also top notch -- they upgraded us to a gorgeous villa for our honeymoon with floor to ceiling windows allowing us to wake up to an unobstructed view of the ocean for whale watching and with a private plunge pool and outdoor shower. We loved the sustainable model of the hotel and the emphasis on preserving the nature and incorporating local artist designs, as well as the attention to reducing light pollution facilitating some of the the most spectacular stargazing. We left feeling more relaxed than ever and can't recommend this sacred retreat/hotel enough!…
FAB-U-LOUS! It’s almost impossible to describe what an incredible place this is…. From the amazing views, rooms, spa, and staff, this hotel delivers a 5 ⭐️ experience. The restaurant “Botanica” and Sandro (the chef) introduced me to the freshest Mexican cuisine I’ve ever had. Heading up the beach bar scene is Augustin (bartender) who wowed everyone with creative cocktails and an engaging spirit. But, it’s the little things that took this hotel to the next level: mini breakfasts delivered to your door everyday, warm cookies with turndown service, a well stocked mini bar, water bottles, flip flops, beach bag… all included with the room. The spa has wonderful yoga classes (Roberto), and many other wonderful experiences. I’ll be back. For sure!
This property is absolutely gorgeous! Newly expanded and remodeled, the whole propeerty is absolutely exceptional. If you are into food, wine and top notch service, you won't be disappointed. At Botanica, Chef Sandro Falbo his and his team have created a wonderful farm to table experience where the restaurant is surrounded by the garden where all the produce is sourced. From the Smoked tomato carpaccio to the Sunday brunch with the garden room and the seafood trolley it was an amazing culinary experience. The GM - Andres has a top notch team and will make sure all your needs are met. This is a must visit property! We can't wait to return!
An extraordinary stay with extraordinary people! I had no idea the experience we would embark on, staying at Rancho. By far my favourite hotel! The suite was beautiful, with tea and coffee on demand, a very comfortable bed, spacious terrace, and a roof top with a stunning sea view. At night you can watch the stars – a 360 experience, just breath taking (picture attached). The rooms have no TV, which was great to encourage you to stay in the present moment, and explore your surroundings, from stargazing to watching the waves on the beach. The daily treats left in the room were a fantastic touch to make you feel at home. I wish I asked for the recipe, the plain ones with a little bit of sugar were my favourites. The main restaurant has a great menu and the food quality was present in every bite. Most ingredients came from the garden, where you can wander all day long amongst the chickens and the hummingbirds! My favourite dish was the roasted tomato soup, it was out of this world. The tomatoes and goat's cheese were an incredible combination, two of my favourite ingredients, and the salad with the Hibiscus dressing, so crunchy, zesty, and tasty. The waiters were friendly, efficient, and engaging! Both pools are gorgeous and the bar has a great selection of drinks. The bar staff are friendly and funny, they’ll satisfy any request you might have. Make sure you don’t miss the sunset from the terrace above the bar, it’s a spectacular show. The boutique has a beautiful selection. From bikinis to jewellery, and the ladies are delightful! We didn’t get a chance to use the spa but we certainly will the next time we’re back! My partner used the gym and he said it had everything he needed for a good work out! The management do their utmost to make your stay rememberable and comfortable. I went surfing every day and the hotel provided a breakfast cool bag first thing in the morning, such a thoughtful thing to do as the beach I went to had no shops. Thank you Rancho for such a magical stay! You have an amazing property. If our experience was during the soft launch, I can only imagine what it’ll be like when you’re fully open. Special Thanks to; Marco – GM for all the fun conversations and your help to make our stay awesome. Christina – Junior Manager for your kindness, we loved being in the Yang of Rancho. Tamaris, Ellias, Elliot and Salvador, thank you so much for the hilarious moments at the bar. Connie and Andrea, thank you for all my new bikinis, the beautiful bracelet and the service. Jose Antonio, Hermes, Andres, Joshuey, thank you for making all our dinner experiences so pleasant! Thanks so much Jasmin for making up our room and for the extra water bottles! Thank you Ricardo for your help with our car and for the warm welcome. Shoukran (Thank you) to the breakfast chef for the most delicious French toast (Pain Perdu). And a huge thank you to Alejandro for singing the traditional Mexican Happy Birthday song to my nephew during the video call with my family, that was the sweetest thing. It made his birthday very special! Rancho you have fantastic staff with great personalities and warm hearts. (Also thank you for letting me watch the World Cup final between France and Argentina before checking in. What a day that was, I ran faster than Usain Bolt!). Farida x …
After several days in the bustle of Cabo San Lucas, we drove up the Pacific coast to this isolated boutique hotel, about 50 minutes north of Cabo. What a difference! Rancho Pescadero is spacious and peaceful-pure relaxation. As portions of the the hotel are still being completed, January was their soft opening month. It seemed that they have restricted rooms available because hardly any guests were visiting besides us. Our room had a rooftop balcony, outdoor sitting and lounging area, and spacious bedroom with a view of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other. Both a main floor balcony and a rooftop balcony really expanded our available space. The views were amazing while watching the rolling Pacific tides, the jumping humpback whales, the wave riding surfers, and the shining sunsets every day. The attentive staff—from greeting to departure and at every opportunity between—gave personal, welcoming touch throughout our stay. We were particularly pleased by attention from Alberto, our server at the Centro Restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and the entire company of management and staff at the Botanica Restaurant. Menu choices and presentation were imaginative and delicious. There may be nearby restaurants, but we found no need to venture off grounds away from the solitude and pleasures of this coastal oasis. The Rancho Pescadero grounds are simply beautiful: the desert garden walk to check-in, the culinary garden supplying herbs and vegetables for the restaurant, the reflective and swimming pools of varied temperatures (pool between beach and bar is quite warm, pool between bar and Centro is warm, and pool between spa and gym is cooler), colorful floral gardens, winding paths (paved, stone, or sand), wide beaches to enjoy running in the morning or sitting in a cabana at sunset, and architecture that incorporates the seaside landscape. We eagerly await our return to Rancho Pescadero.…
This luxurious resort is a natural hacienda-style sanctuary that invites you to explore every corner of the property. The staff attended every need and the garden-to-table dining was impeccable. You won’t want to ever leave. We’ve already made our reservations to go back.
We would like to express our humble thanks to everyone at Rancho Pescadero. You all made us feel so welcome, like we were visiting your home. You opened your hearts to make our first visit there so special. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. We stayed in an ocean view room where we experienced amazing sunsets and sunrises every day. We enjoyed our walks through the gardens on the way to the rooftop breakfast where we watched whales breaching on the horizon. We dined on new and delicious foods and drank local Mexican wine. We truly experienced the hospitable culture of Mexico. We highly recommend this magical getaway to enjoy wide open and beautiful beaches, relax, restore and rejuvenate on all levels. Thank you so much and we look forward to going back!
