Only stayed for one night, and because of commitments we did not stay for the breakfast (maybe next time!!). We were met by a lovely very helpful young lady, and were given the key to Room 3, which is a double standard room. It is exceptionally clean, and well stocked. Very surprised at the level of attention to detail in... More

Good value for money and convenient for Burnham on Crouch and Maldon. The purpose built standard accommodation is clean with a comfortable double bed, and shower en suite. Open prospect over rural countryside. We had tea/coffee facilities with enough milk for drinks evening and morning. TV, free wifi and parking as advertised. No shaver point but plenty of plugs for... Extremely clean and well presented. 3 night stay for work in a large room with free wi-fi and sky TV making the stay more comfortable. Great price, free parking, good nights sleep and very welcoming. Recommend to travellers to the area looking for a low cost stay.

Perfect for the business traveller on a budget. I had a very nice room in an annex at the front, clean, great shower, tea making and a TV. Nice lounge with a little bar in the main building and off street parking. Nothing fancy but all very nice and clean and comfy.

Just stayed overnight whilst working locally. Very clean and tidy room, nice comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. Also ate there in the evening, once again a very good meal. The staff were very friendly and the bar has a nice selection of drinks. A great choice of somewhere to stay.

As the title says it is a no frills place to stay, I would recommend it to anyone, it is so clean, we only had continental breakfast but the full English that we saw looked very good, would definitely stay there again
