Stayed here overnight during a cycle trip. After looking around Pocklington we decided to have dinner here. There was a good choice on the menu ,I had the goat's cheese/Parmesan tart, my friend had the cajun chicken baguette, enough chicken for two. Both were good choices. Service was good from a very friendly young waitress. We had cooked breakfast which... More

Having recently moved to Pocklington, we have found that The Feathers is one of the nicest pubs in the town. The food is always to a very good standard, good value and the selection of guest real ales to try every week is an added bonus. Well worth a visit if you're in Pocklington.

Called in for a drink and a meal, the food was very average and the prices mirrored the quality of the food. The portions were small. Can't order drinks with your food, have to use two separate tills which is a bit annoying. Not a very welcoming place and we wouldn't be in a rush to go back any time... More

Whilst cycle touring the 'Way of the Roses', I chose to stay here. The pub was a very warm welcome, after cycling in cold wet conditions, with a good choice of food & beer. The pub is also very centrally located in Pocklington. My bicycle was able to be stored in their 'Lock up' shed, which was very secure. (I... More

Some good - some not so. Food in bar was good and reasonably priced. Service in restaurant was good as was breakfast. Our chalet room was pretty dismal. A decent size but needed brightening up. Walls were paper thin and normal conversations next door could easily be heard. There was a leak from the cistern that dripped all night. Plus... More

Three of us stayed here on the last night of our "Way of the Roses" cycle trip. Our rooms were in the the chalets across the car park. They were spacious and the bathrooms had beem modernised although the flow from the hot water tap was very slow (think I was in room 10). It's a pity that the rooms... More
