We just got back from a weekend at sanford holiday park. When booking I spent 35 mins on the phone saying I wanted a pet and smoke free caravan next to family as we booked 2 together. Our caravan stank of smoke with overpowering lemon bleach. We were not situated next to our family as requested. We complained about this... More

Just got back from a 3 night camping stay-should have been 4 but it was getting rather rowdy with a large contingent of travellers (Dorset Steam Fair starts tomorrow)! Our pitch,No 260 was very barren.no grass and very bumpy and dusty! Might be worth to advise campers to bring a supply of rock pegs with them as i ended with... More

Lovely and friendly place to go but would lock everything up As there is a possibility it will get stolen. Wouldn't personally eat again at the food court as it tastes like it is microwaved and there is a nice pub/restaurant 100yards away for nearly half the price and tastes much better. It's called the clay pipe inn

Upon arrival it looks nice and welcoming. The leafy setting and winding roads the through to the camping zones were pleasant enough. The pitch we had (and it was typical having looked around) was uneven, bare of any notable grass and housed a colony of ants. The shower block although reasonably close was grubby, dated and I felt I needed... More

We have recently visited this park and would definitely not visit again. We had a star pitch, which in itself was very well maintained, but the problem was the steepness of the concrete slab, and the lack of room to manoeuvre, making it very difficult to park your caravan. I visited the toilet block once and once only....absolutely disgusting, and... More

This was not a cheap holiday because of the school holidays We thought we'd have one of the best caravans But it was very dated We took our baby grandson but couldn't fit his travel cot in the bedroom we had to bath him in a bowl because the shower didn't have a bath area in the bottom like some... Been going to Sandford for 23 years and if we try somewhere else we always wish we was at Sandford. We have stayed in every accommodation they have and our favourite is the amberwood house which sleeps 17 has ito own garden and jacuzzi home from home. We have stayed in amberwood 5 times now and love it all the... More

We had a star pitch in the touring section with our own caravan. The pitch was probably the smallest I have ever stayed on and very clostraphobic. It was clean when we arrived, although with no motor mover, very tight to get onto. There was hardly enough room to park the car. The shower block was cleaned regularly although the... More

We booked for Sandford in April. We booked for three families, two tents and a caravan. On arrival we were given two very small electric pitches and one extremely large non electric pitch. Unfortunate despite requesting three together, we were separated by a single pitch from the non electric one. On the first night we were awoken by a torrent... More

Thanks for taking the time to leave your review. I’m sorry we didn’t quite get all aspects of your camping holiday quite right on this occasion, our team on park would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss this further. It’s a shame to hear other holiday makers caused a disturbance, however glad this was only a brief disruption, and did... More
