Smugglers is a great place to stay. In an old atmospheric building looking over the Newlyn harbour, the bedrooms are surprisingly comfortable with ensuite bathrooms, and all spotlessly clean. The Smugglers restaurant serves delicious food. Nothing is too much trouble for Barbara who looks after the guests with great care.

Warm welcome, delicious fresh, local food and beautiful views out over the fishing fleet in Newlyn harbour. A restaurant rather than "pub" feel, the limited menu wouldn't suit everyone, but reflects the fact that everything is home cooked.

Perfect place to relax, Barbara was so helpful , food great, rooms immaculate , great location with lots of walks and local villages, booking next year without a doubt. After riding from John O Groats to Lands End it was the perfect relaxing stopover for my wife and myself, loved it , booking next year for a longer stay.

Just left this morning after a two night stay for a friend's wedding nearby. Lovely B&B, good restaurant too (and breakfast was fantastic). The owner Barbara was incredibly welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed a night at this lovely little B&B last weekend. The owners are incredibly friendly which makes for a lovely atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom, all very clean. The breakfast was very nice. We also ate in the restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had sardines followed by lemon sole; my... More

The first wow is for the reception when you arrive. You are greeted like a long lost family member who they are so pleased to have found. The next wow is for the room, a really beautiful room, large and well equipped with everything you could need. Finally the third wow is for the restaurant, with absolutely stunning views across... Stayed 2 nights with dinner in restaurant on Friday night. Room was spacious and very clean with small outside seating area. Dinner was great, fish platter the best although, I was hoping for this, given the location. Good breakfast selection and welcoming hosts. Only downside is the parking but nothing much that can be done about this. Would stay again.

Excellent place to stay - very welcoming, excellent accommodation and facilities. Would definitely stay again. The breakfast was delicious but were unable to sample the dinner menu as the restaurant is closed on Mondays (though we are guessing by the excellent breakfast that dinner would be just as good)
