We were on our way to Ontario, but had to stop by Carliyle SK. We didn't know were to stay so we decide to stop at the first hotel we saw. We were impressed, in a good way, about the hotel. Front desk personnel were super friendly. We got a room upstarts, we took the stairs and I was afraid...

Went to Carlyle for a wedding and had booked 4 rooms for myself and family members. Rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable and also a decent breakfast. Walking distance to main street shopping and near by restaurants. Only had a issue with the reservations which was sorted out and all was good. After speaking to other guest I found...

Serious car mechanical issues had us staying overnight in Carlyle waiting for the GM dealership to open the next day. Very nice suite, clean quiet and an excellent hot breakfast included the next morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Kyra went above and beyond in helping out a couple of stranded travellers. Bonnie the next morning did the...

We stayed at this hotel while going to a wedding in the area. The hotel was new, clean, and very comfortable. The room was large and had lots of space to move around in. As an added bonus there was a small kitchen and coffee maker which helped to make things a bit more homey.

I stay here quite frequently for work, and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! I've stayed at every hotel in this area and strongly suggest everyone to stay here! Lots of parking, free wifi, free hot breakfast and soup, beautiful and comfy rooms! Some of the staff needs lessons on manners and respect, but if you need help with anything...

Stayed here for two weeks for work. Its a nice new hotel but if the ladies here don't stay on top of things this place will go downhill in a hurry- especially with the majority of the guests being oil field workers (much dirt). Compared to Stoughtons hotel (4 dots / 5) this one is a bit dirtier, "free hot...

Dear guest, thank you for your review. Since your stay, we have implemented a more rigorous cleaning regimen to stay on top of the busy crews' schedules, and have since added a brand new barbeque and picnic set for our guests' use! We try to keep a steady stream of hot food available, but if we run out, please let...

The western star in Carlyle is a newer hotel that is well suited for the worker who needs a good hotel to spend the night and get a good breakfast. Staff is friendly and the hotel rooms are clean. The free breakfast is nice with standard hot and cold items. Some days are better than others. The breakfast burritos are...

The manager here is very sincere and she bakes fresh muffins in the morning (not store bought). Staff are great. Feels good to check in (I'm not an inconvenience). I love having a suite to make some of my own meals on longer stays. I stay in lots of hotels. This is a keeper.

The location is off the highway and lots of parking. The included continental breakfast is self-serve and sufficient to start the day. Rooms are spacious and clean. One gets the impression their main clientele are local oil rig workers. Staff are a tad rude at times.

Poorly built and constructed. Poor workmanship. Cheap furniture. Poorly designed bathroom with a 24" wide sink/vanity. Parking lot gravel, dirt and mud. Poor access road from Highway. The best part was the continental breakfast which was above average.
