We flew in from Heathrow that afternoon and needed to travel to Limburg so we found this spot to stay on the way. Service - good. Location - great ( on the bank under massive trees, beautiful spot for drink while the sun sets down river) The view is relatively good considering it is opposite a cement factory. Despite this,...

I visited this hotel for two nights during a week of deliciously warm weather in July. We were two couples on a cycling holiday. The hotel is long established and owned and run by two very friendly and efficient brothers. While there are some modern structural add-ons which are in need of updating we found the bedrooms to be spotlessly...

We liked the room , clean and convenient. The accessability of the rooms was for a handicapped person a bit of a challenge with all the doors that needed to be open to drive through. Restaurant and food were very good. The best mediumsoft boiled eggs at breakfast!

Great location next to the river Amers. Rooms are ok, some need a little update. Food is fantastic. Hotel layout is a little rambling, but to be expected in a old building Several nice walks by the river, and towards the town centre. Parking is freely available in front of and next to the hotel

When you stay in this hotel, book a room with river view. The rooms are basic but pleasant and the wifi was okay. We had dinner in the hotel and we had a great time. The food was delicious, service was good, and the hotel staff all were very agreeable. Schoonhoven is a beautiful small town and the countryside nearby...

This was an absolutely charming place to stay. I was visiting associates in Schoonhoeven for the evening and they booked me in at the Belvedere. This is the epitome of small Dutch towns - absolutely brilliant. Really comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower (for such an old building), fast WiFi available all over, and an amazing patio/terrace for...

We liked: + Location at river + Good restaurant with large terrasse shaded by large trees + Good-sized rooms What we disliked: - View onto industrial area opposite river side - "Traditional" look and feel of interieur - Our room overlooking car park

We stayed at the Belvedere one night during a 5-day bike trip in the Netherlands. It was fine - nice, but not a lot of character. It's right on the river, but be aware that there's a cement factory on the other side. That said, we did enjoy drinks out on the patio by the river. The hotel is pretty...

Charming hotel in a lovely little town. I was here on a business trip and it surely beats staying in the traditional business like "Best Western" type hotels. It's really nicely situated just by the channel. If you like running it's great to go jogging along the channel.

Stayed a night at the hotel Belvedere as a family reunion was being held there. We had a double room with a view on the lek, which was beautiful. Could just catch a view of the sunrise off to the left. The room itself was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. However, I did encounter a view mishaps from poor design...
