We were on an extended trip visiting several Countries, we decided to spend a couple of nights in Levoca, we hadn't booked a hotel but did look some up before we arrived and this looked lovely, what a let down, we booked a more expensive room and to be honest it looked charming etc but that was it. The good...

Crowded rooms with dark and unpractical furniture from the communist era. Rooms are very dusty with the many superfluous carpets. The breakfast is ok, but a major complain is the coffee: nescafe-sachets! Later we heart you can order expresso-coffee, but you have to pay an extra. That's pretty weird. There is no elevator, apparently because it is a monument. But...

Nice hotel in Levoca, with a nice restaurant. Rooms confortable and quite big. There is no elevators so have to go up the stairs with your luggages. Situated inside the town and close to the main square so very convinient to visit the town.

Absolutely beautiful, and authentically charming small hotel. Seemed like a century ago, once inside. Staff helpful. Room beautiful. Breakfast okay. Price very reasonable. Right around the corner from a UNESCO World Heritage site, Levoca, Slovakia, and a few miles from Spiss Castle, once of the largest in Europe. Altogher almost too charming for words.

The place has excellent location, just a few meters from the main square of the city. The staff is extremely friendly, they were attending to any of our special needs, e.g. providing medical drugs, or fixing electricity issues immediately. The hotel is an old merchant building, it has steep stairs and no elevator - a real challenge to climb up...

Levocha was all around disappointing, but the cold, rainy weather (45 degrees daytime high in mid June), probably had something to do with it. The hotel needs lots of updating. The room was very large and clean, but furnishings were worn and outdated. Decor ran towards really awful looking huge plastic flower arrangements. There are no elevators and getting our...

Charming old-world hotel in architecturally beautiful and tidy walled town. Very close to town square, Cathedral of St. James and Master Pavol Museum. Lighted view of Maryanska Shrine visible from our rear bedroom window. Large soaking tub was welcome after a day's hiking at Spis Castle and Spisske Kapitula. There is no elevator, however, and this may be a problem...

Staff were very friendly and helpful as we arrived late and the chef kept the kitchen open for us. The hotel decor is dated. Our room had plastic plants and a hand held shower over the bath. There was no lift and we had to go up some quite steep narrow steps. Our room only had skylights so I could...

This was the best in terms of standard of room of the three places we stayed in during our trip to Slovakia. However it was also the most expensive though still cheap compared to UK prices. There is no doubt that this hotel needs a gentle makeover as it has seen better days but the room was clean and comfortable,...

I was not expecting too much from this hotel so I did not get disappointed. The entire inside of the hotel could use a big face-lift. The room on the 1st floor (no lift) was OK with a hard bed, a very heavy cover and too flat pillow. There was a smell from the bad drainage in the bathroom that...
