Palac and Folwark Galiny is a special place. The 16th century Palace Complex surrounded by a 12 acre park, bisected by the Pisa river, along with the 19th century Folwark are full of uncommon peace and tranquility. The hotel offers 38 spacious rooms and apartments differing in size, shape and furnishing. The Galiny Estate also includes: two-level Inn with its historic clock tower located in the old granary building, conference rooms of differing sizes with preserved antique elements, the Stud Farm with 100 horses as well as 250 hectares of area you can discover throughout the year.
It was my first time to Poland and I wanted a horse riding training retreat. This is exactly the right place that has catered to my vacation idea. The training was great, the horses are so sweet and best of all the staff were lovely. I love how the estate is situated in nature. Easy to walk around and just be in peace. Gosh and Ula had taught me many things in riding I was doing the jumping program, but I also wanted to experience a trail ride therefore Patricia was able to set that up. Matt is a lovely waiter who catered to my food and beverage needs. Thomas was a great host showing me around and explaining what this place has to offer. I am very pleased with my stay. My only remark was housekeeping can clean the rooms a bit better like changing the towels and sheets often.

A very nice experience. Stayed in an appartment, where unfortunately the staff could not provide password for wi-fi (asked 4-5 times). Otherwise very nice. Clean, airy rooms with an OK bed. Well appointed kitchen and spotless clean bathroom/toilets. Bring your own shampoo. Food was superb and staff very friendly.

While here only 2 hours, already my impression is negative. There is feeling of somewhat false advertising, since the main photo of the palace is not the main building. That building is a residence at a distance from the main area, which is the old farm grange. There is no air conditioning, at least in the room I have, so you could boil in summer. Also, lots of flies in the restaurant. Lots. The waiters and waitresses are excellent at ignoring you. Our plates have been on our table, empty, for over half an hour. I called one over to order coffees. She looked at me from a distance and walked away. We had to physically fetch assistance by walking to the staff. I mentioned to the waitress that I had called her over, at which point she laughed, failed to apologise, and walked away without acknowledging the order. Not a good start. I am severely unimpressed. 1 star. Day 2. Breakfast was OK, however the orange juice tastes artificial. Never a good thing for me. We waited 15 minutes the evening for someone to notice us to take an order, eventually having to go amd get one. There are things to like here, but the annoyances are severe enough to upset me. …

I was planning a horseback riding vacation and found this place. I stayed for 3 nights with my 12 year old daughter. I have never before been in Poland and this has been an unforgettable experience. We stayed at the Palac in a lovely and spacious room. We have paid in advance for half board, highly recommended, as the restaurant in there is wonderful. Plenty of variety, excellent quality and the meals were delicious.

As in any place there are Pros and Cons. I would like to list both I had booked 7 nights stay here and we extended 2 more nights because we loved it here :) The place is in a great location,u are surrounded with birds, animals and their concert all the time. Green and vivid colors everywhere u look around.I have a special mention to Mr Thomasz at the reception. He made our stay extra special. Passionate about all that he does and he does it with so much energy, kudos to him.So helpful in booking a taxi, recommending places etc. Restaurant guys are very friendly too. But we did have a little mess up with our vegetarian order though. It would be nicer if people can understand English little better. However, they were helpful and smiling most of the times. Please keep a toaster for the breakfast. We were asking every morning for our bread to be toasted. Mostly cold spread, which became a little boring after a few days. Riding experience was average to nice. However, it would have been nicer if we could have had a little bit more interaction with the instructors after the riding about the corrections and planning etc.All the instructors seemed very busy to give us even 5 minutes after and during the ride as well which I didn’t appreciate at all. Before the class they are busy with others and during with others too and after the class, again too busy planning for next day. It looked like they were over loaded or pretended too loaded, i am not sure. Even though I am riding since a while, tacking a horse is one thing that I had no experience in.I so wish that the instructors understood that and gave a bit more information or educating me on that after I told I was new to this.Mounting on own was also something new to me,I did learn how to but it would be nicer if instructors are aware of this and took a bit of note. Horses are magical, here it was so cool to see some of the best horses. So well trained and such calm temperament.Fell in love with each and every one of them that I rode. Rooms are large, have some cool views from the windows. Take your own shampoo and shower gel. If you are staying in room no 25, watch out for that evil sill in the door that make u trip and get hurt all the time. To sum it up, I loved my stay, breathed fresh air,my eyes saw the yellowest fields and my heart was happy with the sound of neighing, birds chirping and happy dogs running all around the place.Thank you for making it so special…

"Best of the best!" What a wonderful week we had at Palac I Folwark. We were very excited as we had traveled from Oslo all the way to Galiny, but it was absolutely worth it. My 14-year-old daughter and I have both been riding for several years, but we have never previously been to a ridingcamp abroad. We had two ridinglessons every day, with a delicious lunch in between. During the ridinglessons, we could choose what we wanted to focus on, whether it was show jumping or trail riding. The area around the stables was absolutely beautiful. In many ways it felt like we traveled back in time considering how old and beautiful this place is. The stable with the horses was absolutely fantastic, the horses were of super quality, they were so easy to control with our bodyweight and happy to jump over obstacles. The food was absolutely lovely, everything was fresh and there was a good variety in what we could choose for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were here for five days, but next time we will be here even longer. Our instructor was great at explaining and showing us how to become a better rider. She was also incredibly good at giving lots of feedback during the lesson so that we always knew what we needed to change to become a better rider. Everyone we spoke to who was here at the same time as us was very pleased!…

Absolutely fabulous. The place is beautiful and huge. You can always find a horse to talk with in the stables or outside. Wonderful old buildings beautifully restored. The conference room was very nice, my room was adequate - and with a huge bathroom. Everything spotless clean. The food was outstanding. A lot of delicacies, local specialities and a lot plant based. I just loved it. The best, though, is the staff. Friendly and very service minded.

A beautiful and peaceful location and authentic, rustic property features. Great service throughout. Set in pristine countryside, the grounds are extensive, with fields, woods, gardens and lakes. Horse riding is available alongside the accommodation.

It is a genuine paradise!!! Everything is just perfect! Everybody working at Galiny is very helpful, nice, always willing to say something nice. Everybody! Special thanks to all the receptionnists, Kasia the waitress, and Maciek (? Sorry, if I don't remember the correct name) who tried to repair our fridge 😊

We came here for 4 days, mainly for the horse riding. The grounds are spectacular and well maintained. The horses were safe and fit and we had a great time riding. The food was the best I’ve had on any of my riding trips - it was all so fresh and delicious. Portions were also very large! We also did a 45 minute carriage ride which I’d recommend doing. Really a great place off the beaten path, and excellent value for your money.
