Although it has some virtues due to its location and efficent employees, we had a very dangerous situation. Two dogs that belonged to two visitors (not staying at the hotel but being there only for luch...) ran towars our 6 year old kid and nearly attacked him since we could reach him and protect him on time. This is the type of situations that may end very bad. I think that being pet friendly cannot work against being family friendly. This is not a safe place to bring your kids.
Niddo is located in a beautiful spot, in an old rock climbing school. The scenery is amazing, the views will take your breath away and the tents look good. The food is good and the people are very nice. It should be a great experience, but the lack of attention to detail really kills them. We found dirty underwear in our bed (not ours), the trash cans in the room were still full of the previous guest`s rubbish. There wass no one on duty at night to take care of these issues. The space heater we got is nowhere near powerful enough (not even half the size of the ones shown in the pictures) to make the cold bearable, specially since the tent´s zippers were broken and there was no way to properly close the flaps. It was lucky we had taken our cold weather sleeping bags with us: Dirty linens, and near freezing temperature would have made for an awful night. Bathrooms have awful plumbing: wash your teeth or try to take a shower and grey water will go everywhere but down the drain; the entire bathroom will be soaked. Also, there is no hot water, and the shower stall had a couple broken panes. This would be a one star rating except the staff are REALLY nice (when they are there). As soon as we complained in the morning, they moved us to another room and made sure everything was super clean. The bathroom was WAY better. No hot water though. …
Went with my husband and stayed in a cabin on the rock wall, which is super impressive looking. The cabin/tent was super cozy - perfect for a romantic trip. The food was very good, and we had a really fun time climbing on the rock wall (with a wonderful guide, of course!). Can't wait to go back!
Bad experience. We stayed one night, no hot water at all, the bathroom quite regular. It was freezing and no proper heating system or blankets. Low quality food in general. It looks like there’s no manager or owner
Terrible, we stayed two days without light, no one offered candles or lights, we had to look for them. It was freezing. Small tends for what they offer, old and broke, the bathroom was quite regular. their service is regular. It seems it doesn’t have an owner or responsible for the place. There are better gamboling near this place
