An hour away by ferry from the mainland, Isla Reta is perfect for overnight camping. For a minimal fee, you get to enjoy this less crowded beach. Friendly staff are all over the place. You can even hire a boat to get you to the nearby Coral Garden.

Yes, yes, the ocean view was fantastico, the water was pristine (no picture though) but the place will rip you off when it comes to payment. You have to pay 150Php each and thats only for one way, you've got to pay again if you wanna go back to the Main Davao City. Don't forget to pay entrance too if... More

Beach is kept clean and the water is really clear. Sand---powdery white/cream with dead corals on the shoreline. There are several Talisay trees lined up offering shade to the guests. Basic setup and nothing fancy. I was even surprised that the tents they have for rental are Coleman. Restaurant needs improvement though when it comes to ordering because it really... More

I am really hoping that the beach will stay the same as it is, clean and unspoiled, with just minor needed upgrades in the resort facilities. If you are that type of person who don't like noisy and/or crowded places (just like in other beach resorts) this a place to be. A laid back and a peaceful resort. It is... More

If you want the best beach resort in Samal-Talicud area, head to Isla Reta and you will definitely have the best time of your life. We just did, and it's all worth it! :-) It was not pricey, only a short travel time from Davao City, and once you're there...you don't wanna leave! Being there is as good as being... More

You can save transpo expense because from the boat docking area, you can reach Isla Reta Beach Resort on foot ---it's just 15 minutes walk. The white beach is beautiful with lots of shells (pangbato sa sungka) and corals. We were there Tuesday and we ordered lunch but unfortunately their only available ulam is adobo. No other choices but pork... More

the 1.5hr trip from sta.ana to talikud island was a breeze. The mv isla reta boat was comfortable, and for a good price. The dry sand is powdery white and i just hoped they cleaned the beachline of small rocks and coral pieces more often. Our cottage didnt have any fans but even on summer nights, the breeze was cool... I lived in Davao for a couple of years and have been to Samal Island a handful of times. My wife and I decided to take the kids to the beach so I did some research to find a new place. I discovered Isla Reta Beach Resort on Talikud Island. Based on the pictures, the place looked beautiful so we... More
