I slept in this Place with my Friends, we were in 4 and they give us a very big room, it looked like a suite. Fantastastic bed and incredible bathroom. The breakfast was really good. The common place is perfect to hang hour together, with a very big pool, a ping pong table and a pool table

The family who runs the hotel is very friendly and they do everything to make your stay and your day trips pleasant and comfortable. The private sunrise/dolphin/snorkelling tour is highly recommended. Our guide was extremely good at spotting the dolphins!

We stayed in Oct last year, and I owe them a review, beacause they served us so well. We organised to be picked up by them from Sanur. The family organised this and our dolphin watching. They have great hospitality, the decor is so cool, we stayed in the family room, great double bathroom, a lift for the kids (not super comfortable, but everything is so cool). See photos of the house, it's so amazing. Great pool, ping pong table, all the rooms funky. They also organised the best dolphin watching ever, the owner's son took us - he avoided the other boats and stayed out longer than them, They do a great fried bananas. Just contact them to discuss your needs. They will accomodate. We also did an itinerary from south to north and return. They served us well, even sent a scooter to bring towels from home for us, when we went to the hot springs. I am dory for the late review. They deserve the best for all that they do.

The first thing you need to know about Bottelmania is that it is a homestay run by a family. Mr Bottel and his family will look after your every need. The second thing you need to know is it is cash only. We booked 2 family rooms as were 2 families of 4 each. Our check in was smooth and easy. Pay cash for your room up front. The room we were given was very large for Bali. There was a massive open corner room with full length windows which combined living area and a king size bed. Thr furniture was very high quality. The bathroom was massive and very tastefully decorated. It had a double shower with one being a full massage shower. There's a large fridge and dressing room. The children's beds are up on a mezzanine level with 2 double beds. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Thr cleanliness of the rooms is the best we've seen in Bali. There's a wrap around patio outside the room with ample seating to watch the sunrise. The property has a large indoor pool and hot tub, games room with a pool table, Wii and PlayStation. The dining area was quite pleasant and the meals were superb. Pay cash at the time. You'll mingle with 3 generations of the family as they do live there in adjoining buildings. The family can organise all your tours and transport. Mr Bottel drove us around in his car, his scooter and his Ute (you'll sit in the back on dainty mini cane seats). I left my card in the ATM machine on a Saturday and Mr Bottel drove me all the way into Singaraja to talk to the bank security to see about getting it back. After a chat they arranged for us to meet the guy who loads cash into the machine on his schedule later that day. So Mr Bottel drove me back again to meet him to get my card. That kind of service would Never happen in Australia!! I gave him $20 for his time for which he was very grateful. On our last day my son pulled up sick. Unfortunately he vomited all over the floor of the restaurant at breakfast. They were very kind to us about it and the grandmother gave us some Panadol for his fever and some herbal remedy they sprayed on his neck (which helped). Evey morning at 5am you'll be woken to Buddhist chanting on a loud P.A. system across the area. My kids slept through this however. It happens again around sundown. I thoroughly recommend this place foot any kind of traveller. They aim to meet all needs. If I had to name a flaw it would be first world problems: the WiFi was weak and the TV did not work. If that doesn't bother you, you'll enjoy staying here.

The most friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money. If we returned to Bali again would defintly visit again. Not far from center. Lovely swimming pool. Should imaging a great place for group of back packers. We were lucky enough to go out with a local fisherman to see the dolphins at Sun rise. Best experience ever much better than in the crowded tourist boats we saw.
