Nice hotel regarding the surroundings. Basic and clean. Great view of the Nile. Nice outdoor cafe. There is a problem with TV remotes. Not the type of place if you are looking for luxury, but there are no luxurious hotels in Qena. So this is as good as it gets.

Basma hotel is the real smile at the face of Upper Egypt. Warm hospitality and comfortable accommodation with the most wonderful view to the western bank of the greatest Nile River. The set of the sun is realy amazing

The hotel is not so good. The Internet not works, never in 2 weeks. The furniture is very old. Very poor condition. In the back yard there is a place near the river where you can eat, this is only one good thing.

A three stars hotel that is located on the Nile having a magnificent view , yet it is not a fancy hotel, but it's your only option if you visit Qena for business or tourism It has a small conference room that is good for meetings or small ceremonies, but not very good for lectures or conferences

The rooms were very clean. Good sleeping beds.quiet atmosphere. and above all the amazing nile view. Nice options for breakfast but you'd better go and have lunch outside in the city restaurants. There's a ping pong table. Don't miss to visit the dandara temple. It's 15 min by car from the hotel.

As a Rule you'll Only stay over night in city of Qena in case of Business. You must understand that as you head South of Cairo in vast Upper Egypt region, Hotel services drop significantly. A strange exception was Hotel Basma in Qena. I rate as Best Hotel in Upper Egypt. With Exception of Touristic resorts in Luxor & Aswan...

Both are very Spacious and have plenty of space (suit was enormous and can easily accommodate 4 persons -or more with the two king size beds, large storage spaces, mini fridge, dressing table, working desk, a very large bathroom and such bathtub, and a sitting/living area with...

The Basma hotel is the 'best' in Qena which doesn't say much for the others! I stayed here for 2 weeks on business and that's the only reason I think anyone would stay over in this place. If visiting the few places of interest in this area stay in Luxor. The room is spacious with enough storage space and a...
