To begin the location of the hotel is simply perfect; literally less than a 2 minute walk from the main square with the church.
The hotel, formerly a palace, itself beautiful and pretty authentic to the style of the 19th century.
Our room was basic, which was all we needed. Personally I didn't like the bed that much as it felt too much like one of those memory foam mattresses, but was decent enough. The pillow felt the same, but we asked the reception for extra pillows and got them. 2 pillows were fine to sleep on.
The room and bathroom were really clean. The shower was just amazing, good pressure and warm.
The hotel has a policy where they change your towels every other day to conserve water and be more nature friendly. I have no issue with that at all. Not like I use fresh towels every day at home either. Despite that, we did get new towels the next day but perhaps that was because it was noted we would only stay 2 nights.
