A tremendous location and restaurant/bar around a fireplace, let down by below average room - very dark and water not hot enough for a decent shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the dining menu was fantastic and breakfast perfectly adequate.

We booked a suite in the hotel which was truly awful. Dark, miserable room with ill fitting curtains. A very large damp patch on the ceiling was only eclipsed by the large hole in the middle of it. There were 3 tiny lights in the room and one end was in complete darkness. The bed was saggy with ill fitting sheets. One of the most unwelcoming rooms I have ever stayed in. Dinner in the rather haphazard dining room was good and the staff delightful. Our waitress could not have been more helpful. Breakfast starts at 9 which is not very convenient and rather dismal in its offering. I certainly wouldn’t return.

As others have pointed put, this is not in the centre of anything, so you can't wander around, or go to eat elsewhere. That said, we enjoyed our stay. We wee welcomed on arrival and our cases were taken to our room. Those on reception are very helpful, even showing me how to use the tv. The dinner menu looked good and was very reasonably priced. However, we had had a large late lu ch and so were not hi get, though we did have a snack. We sat round the fire in the main lounge. Breakfast was splendid. Our room was good, though there no safe. There is a warm pool outside, but we'll used

This could be a great hotel. Lovely warm pool surrounded by plenty of recliners but this was covered until quite late each morning so no hope of a swim before going out for the day. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast starts strictly at 9 a.m. We asked to have it earlier as we had long days of sightseeing ahead and were told that was not possible. After a telephone call to the manager we managed to have it at 8.30 on one day - possibly to make up for the hot water running out! The real downside of this hotel is that the staff seem harassed and unhappy. We did not meet the manager as she was never in the hotel when we were. There was absolutely no feeling of guests being welcome. A dismal atmosphere.

One of the best places to eat in Georgia- hands down! Hospitality on highest level. Food is just amazing. Breakfast unmatched. Came here few times for lunch and dinner and will not hesitate to come again. This was the first time that I stayed overnight. The rooms in the newest part of the property was disappointment though. All looks pretty ok but finishing details render the experience disappointing. Better quality of material and maintenance would turn this property into an enjoyable place to stay.
