#2 of 40 Specialty lodging in Signagi
The Lost Ridge Inn is the only boutique hotel nestled in the tranquil village of Qedeli, located just outside Sighnaghi in the Kakheti region of Georgia. Situated on a lovely crest overlooking the Alazani Valley, each of our six rooms features a view of either the Greater Caucasus Mountains, or the rolling patchwork hills of Magaro. We have an onsite craft brewery, where we create Belgian-style beers for you, available on tap and aged in the bottles. Moreover, we offer tasty seasonal menus prepared in our open fire kitchen and horseback tours in the vicinity. The inn is just 5 minutes drive and 20 minutes walk from the center of Sighnaghi, away from the unwanted noise and crowds, yet close enough to enjoy its twisty cobalt streets, wonderful views, food and wines.

My husband and I spent two days/one night at the lodge and loved every bit of it. With it being so remote, we weren't quite sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised to find a beautifully-appointed room, a quiet outdoor space with hammocks and a firepit, fast WiFi and delicious (and an abundant amount of) food. We even took a cooking class and learned how to make our two favorite Georgian recipes (khachapuri and lobiani) and were then served these as well as a table full of vegetables and cheeses for lunch. Our other meals were equally as appetizing and filling. The ladies who worked there were super sweet and gave us some guidance on local hikes and directions to the nearby monastery (a popular sightseeing destination for locals and tourists). Overall a superb experience and one I'd highly recommend.

We spent one summer night in this hotel and felt so comfy we didn't even went downtown, we ate lunch and dinner at the café and rode horses at sunset. Our room was luminous, quiet aircon. Many hammocks and swings to relax in the garden. Good breakfast and accommodating staff. Probably the best place to stay in Sighnagi

This place is a ranch, micro brewery, and ranch style hotel..all in one. The place is a bit hard to find, and on top of a ridge behind Signagi. My wife and I stayed in the "archeology" room..which happens to be an old house that they modernized and made into a small apartment. Probably the neatest room we stayed in for our 3 week trip. The food was homecooked, and wine selection was solid. Beer is brewed on site, and developing into some unique brews (don't expect USA microbrew...but this guy is getting better each brew). We took a 1 hour horseback ride to the nearby ridge, and loved the view of the local monastery. This place is more setup for day visitors vs. hotel guests, as there is a large catering area and relatively small dining area. If the weather is good, this place is un-beatable. If it's raining hard, maybe a bit harder to enjoy...but still peaceful. Highly recommended.

The location and outdoor seating area is amazing. It’s a pet friendly place but we are dissatisfied with the food. Considering the price the variety was weak. We were charged 45 gel per person for some entries& salad & cheese and bread. There was no main course. And if you are really hungry the amount is not adequate either. I am not sure if it was like that only for vegetarians, maybe their usual brunch is better but it was a disappointment for us especially after a long tiring day. We purchased their beer and the bottles were not tagged properly. We ended up buying huge bottles of what we didn’t intent to buy. I guess they need to be more careful in general.

Lost Ridge Inn is located off the beaten path, atop a ridge overlooking the beautiful Alazani Valley. But it is a short way to Sighnaghi or Bodbe. Tastefully decorated rooms with comfortable beds and nice showers -- everything sparkling clean -- a cozy livingroom and kitchen downstairs, and beautiful grounds with tables and umbrellas and hammocks sprinkled around. A short walk gets you to their ranch, where you can arrange for very short to multiple-day horse trips. The ranch also has a fire-pit, surrounded by lounge chairs with a beautiful view, and a restaurant on site. Our group spent a delightful evening around a bonfire, relaxing on the loungers and enjoying the view, while tasting their amazing beer and sharing stories. All the staff are cheerful and go WAY BEYOND what is required, doing their utmost to make a very pleasant and memorable stay for their guests. Excellent food, fantastic coffee, great beer. A lovely place to relax, or to organize fun group events.
